Why do you have to always say pbuh(peace be upon Him) that's like a ritual you do . Here just one example of many 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son(which is Jesus, because God did not have any other sons) , that whoever believes in him shall not perish,BUT have ETERNAL life.

You really don't think that Jesus is the physical offspring of God do you? Jesus is God, they are one and the same. I don't even presume to understand God, and I am appalled that someone would even presume that they could. This is the God who split a sea, the very same God who led Israel out of Egypt with a pillar of salt by day and a pillar of fire by night. This God created the us, he created the earth, he knows exactly how DNA works, he knows things that we have not even thought about thinking about yet. What we have is historical evidence, we have the Bible, which has proven exact back to 1000BC at least. We have extrabiblical proof in the existence of Jesus. We have the Gospels, we have Acts, we have the Letters, these things tell us what it means to be a Christian, they tell us what Christ was like. If we have questions that need answered, like how is Jesus the son of God when God is not married? How did God split a sea? There are literally thousands of questions that need answered. The best thing to do, is look for the answers, and have the sense to know when the answers are not there. Jesus said that he was the son, he called himself that many times.I have added some stuff below, and will watch this post, but as for now, the baby is crying and wants a bottle. peace.1 John 5:11-12 (New International Version)New International Version (NIV)11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.Look Here
What does it mean that Jesus is the Son of God? Jesus Son of GodQuestion: "What does it mean that Jesus is the Son of God?"Answer: Jesus is not God’s Son in the sense of how we think of a father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. Jesus is God’s Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1,14). Jesus is God's Son in that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 declares, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'" In Bible times, the phrase “son of man” was used to describe a human being. The son of a man is a man.During His trial before the Jewish leaders, the High Priest demanded of Jesus, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God" (Matthew 26:63). Jesus responded, “Yes, it is as you say, ‘but I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26:64). The Jewish leaders responded by accusing Jesus of blasphemy (Matthew 26:65-66). Later, before Pontius Pilate, “The Jews insisted, ‘We have a law, and according to that law He must die, because He claimed to be the Son of God’” (John 19:7). Why would claiming to be the “Son of God” be considered blasphemy and be worthy of a death sentence? The Jewish leaders understood exactly what Jesus meant by the phrase “Son of God.” To be the “Son of God” is to be of the same nature as God. The “Son of God” is “of God.” The claim to be of the same nature as God, to in fact “be God,” was blasphemy to the Jewish leaders; therefore, they demanded Jesus’ death. Hebrews 1:3 expresses this very clearly, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being…”Another example can be found in John 17:12 where Judas is described as the "son of perdition." John 6:71 tells us that Judas was the son of Simon. What does John 17:12 mean by describing Judas as the "son of perdition"? The word "perdition" means "destruction, ruin, waste." Judas was not the literal son of "ruin, destruction, and waste" - but those things were the identity of Judas' life. Judas was a manifestation of perdition. In this same aspect, Jesus is the Son of God. The Son of God is God. Jesus is God made manifest (John 1:1,14).

Jesus was God,John 1: 1. "In the begining was the Word [Jesus], and the Word [Jesus] was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God".v14. "and the Word [Jesus] was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begoten of the Father, full of grace and truth.Genesis 1: 1. "In the begining God [Elohim] Plural, created the heaven and the earth"v26. And God [Elohim] Plural, said, let US, plural, make man in OUR Plural image after OUR Plural likeness.Genesis 3: 22. "And the Lord God [Elohim] plural] said, behold, Man has become one of US Plural. The Hebrew word for "God" in these verses, means there is more then two.God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost.I hope that answers your question.

I take it you haven't read much of the New Testament. Jesus is called the "only begotten son of God" in John 3:16. He is also called the "Son of God" in:Matt. 8:29; Matt. 14:33; Matt. 16:16; Matt. 27:54; Mark 1:1; Mark 3:11; Mark 5:7; Mark 15:39; Luke 1:32; Luke 1:35; Luke 4:41; Luke 5:28; John 1:18; John 1:34; John 1:49; John 3:18; John 5:25; John 6:69; John 9:35,37; John 10:36; John 11:4; John 11:27; John 19:7; John 20:31; Acts 3:13; Acts 3:26; Acts 8:37; Acts 9:20; Romans 1:4; 1 Cor. 1:9; 2 Cor. 1:19; Gal. 2:20; Heb. 4:14; 1 John 4:9; 1 John 4:15; 1 John 5:5; 1 John 5:20; 2 John 1:3Some of those don't mention His name but do say "Christ". Some of those say that He is the Christ, the Son of God--so He IS not only the Christ, the Messiah, but He IS the Son of God.

And, yet, he is also God. See, it is not as simple as you would have it to be. [IMG]I believe that Jesus is God, that he is the Son of God, and that he is my Savior. I believe that Jesus came to earth, as man, in order to give us an example of how we should live. The example that he gave us is pleasing to God, we are to strive to become more like Jesus. Before Jesus, there were sacrifices to be made to atone for our sinfulness. Jesus came, to take on those sacrifices, he was a perfect, unblemished sacrifice, he was the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. Jesus was alot of things, but to us, all that matters is that he is our Savior. The how of it all will come at the end.As for me, I choose to study, I like to come here to see what is being discussed, and to grow in knowledge. I am by far not a perfect example of a Christian, but I am a Christ follower. I know what needs to be done, but this body is weak. Don't sweat the details, just accept the Savior.Peace

Jesus calls HImslef the Son of God;Jhn 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? The demons recognize Him for who He is;Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Remember that bit when he was on the Cross? Recall the line, "Father, why have you forsaken me?"Who do you think he was talking to?(Mazhar)

This I don't know, so others should be able to help you more on this.To Thunder1,(Thunder1)
Why do you have to always say pbuh(peace be upon Him) that's like a ritual you do .
Something clicked in my brain when you noticed this as well, and I did a Google search on Mazhar's screen name to see if he or she uses it in any other forums. Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck, but there are many, many returns of Middle Eastern links. If I'm to guesstimate correctly, Mazhar (the one here) is Muslim or former Muslim (which would account for the ritual of "peace be upon him", as they do believe Jesus was a messenger of Allah) who is either honestly seeking the Christian point of view, or seeking to steer circles around you in the very near future. I add that last bit because s/he totally ignored your question, and so I thought I could provide a possible answer.

I didnt answer it because it would deviate the topic. We muslims beleive that Jesus pbuh was one of the mightiest messenger of Allah and we also beleive that he was born without father, and that he gave life to dead people with Allah's help. So we respect the messengers of Allah and say that peace be upon them all.

yes, but not a "form". Jesus has two natures, he is fully man (human) and fully Divinge (God). God did not "take" the "form" of a man. Jesus (who is God and has been with the Father from before creation) became man.

no, one God in Three Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we call that the Trinity. Not because we think we have 3 gods, but because we know the one God is Three Persons. [IMG]

Good one sevyer ! I'm not perfect either far from it, I'm so weak that's why I need Jesus. I could not live without Him. And most of all He is my Saviour.

Jesus is from GOD , The son of God. Like a family, God , the Father, Jesus, the son of God and the Holy Spirit, which was left to us who believe in Him to guide us,to comfort us,to dwell in us... God's plan continues through us, because of HIS HOLY SPIRIT - TODAY.
