I find it interesting that you have a hard time staying on one side but coddle those who believe and speak lies.

If I can be so direct, you are taking an ignorant position. So I guess that means I'm at least not coddling you, you little goober, Lol.

Dec 25...is an pretty common agreed on Date to celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
I highly doubt that is an accurate Date of Jesus’ birth.

Accuracy of the Date is no matter to me.
Any time it is notable masses of people are all remembering Jesus on the same day, I think is a good day.

Glory to God,

@Cristo Rei ....Santa Claus is the reflected world version of 'good' evil as the deliberate 'fun' counterfeit of Christ and his Father.
Here's a comparison for you..

Christ has white hair, like wool (Rev 1:14) - Santa has white hair like wool
Christ has a beard (Isaiah 50:6) - Santa has a beard
Christ comes in red apparel (Isaiah 63:1-2) - Santa wears red
Christ's hour of his visitation was/is called a mystery - Santa's hour of his coming is a mystery
Christ lived/lives in the North - symbolic of heaven - Santa lives in the North
Christ was a carpenter - Santa is a toy carpenter
Christ appeared/appears as a thief in the night - Santa comes as a thief in the night and gains entrance into homes
Christ was given power to perform miracles - Santa can deliver all the toys in one night
Christ today knows all people - Santa knows all, who are naughty or nice
Christ today sees all people - Santa see you when you wake or sleep
Christ today is immortal - Santa is immortal
Christ lives in our hearts - Santa lives in the hearts of people, especially kids
The Father of Christ gives gifts to fill the soul - Santa gives gifts to please the soul
The Father and Christ is absolute truth - Santa is a fraud and a liar
The Father and Christ sits on their thrones - Santa sits on a throne
Christ is there on his throne to ask our needs - Santa is on his throne and asks kids their hearts desires for toys and presents
Christ commands children to obey their parents - Santa tell children to listen to their parents
Christ want all to come into the Kingdom as children - Santa tells children to come to him for presents
Christ judges from righteousness and peace - Santa judges whether you are good or bad
Christ is the image of his everlasting Father - Santa is Father Christmas
Christ is called the Christ child - Kris Kringle means christ child
Christ is worthy of pray and worship - Children give prayers and letters and worships Santa
Christ is today the Lord even over all the hosts - Santa is the Lord over the host of elves (In Druid religion elves are demons or tree spirits
God, the Father voices 'Ho Ho' - Santa says 'Ho Ho'
Christ is the prince of eternal peace and the image of his Father - Santa is the symbol of world peace and the image of the pagan season of harvest and the counterfeit version of Christ and his birth

Loving the truth and holiness of God is never boring my friend . its the abundant life .
Loving the truth , loving what God calls good is never boring .
We should never tell children there is an all knowing santa in the north pole . Just tell them of the Glorious Christ
and of pure and lovely sound doctrine in the bible . Raise those children up in the ways of truth and soberness
and they will later teach their children to flee from the appearance of evil as well .
Let us keep all things pure . Blending evil in with good and making evil seem cute and joyous does not bring GOD pleasure at all .
Remember our life ought to be lived unto HE who has saved us . Not unto fables and such .
Santa is a term for Christ for christians. And I think they understand that. Why don't you?

Lol, your cut downs mean absolutely nothing to me. I have known for a long time that you walk in fear of man while claiming to be a warrior for truth. How's that for a goober? lol ;)

How can you say I'm ignorant on this? Do you believe all the lies about santa being real?

Honestly, I know that "santa" isn't necessarily purposefully an anagram for satan. But who's to say it wasn't intended that way by satan himself? "Santa" is not even close to "sinter." It's probably just a wild coincidence, bit still, santa has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. Christmas is a false christian cover to get Christians to conform to a pagan celebration.

Coddle on..... I'm not too interested in this since I know people love their comfort zones and their idols and don't want to give up anything for Christ.

It wasn't meant to mean anything to you. :) It wasn't a cut down either. But now, this whole thread isn't worth taking seriously for me, so I stopped reading there. I can take it up later, but seeing as how you are and we are going to be taking the conversation in two completely different ways, rather than get all hot and bothered about something ridiculous, I think I'll hold off on the rest for now, ok? :)

Dont go mixing pagan into the HOLY and expect me to buy it . It wont be happening .
I did what i could for you on this subject . I will NOT partake of , nor mix the pagan into the Holy .
Just as the jews did , so to do the churches , they always turn a good deed and make it into an idol .
Folks turned the kindness of saint nick , and turned it into a abominational fairy tale .
There is no santa clause , and even saint nicholas would be turning over in his grave if he could see
what masses have turned his good deeds into . A fable to be worshipped . FLEE IT .

Yes I have read it, these people are evil, they act like philanthropists, but that’s just to deceive.

I meant to say both him and his ex-wife were and most likely still are.

Some believe that Santa is an anagram for Satan. Satan has always wanted to replace God, and Santa's shenanigans give him supernatural powers according to the myths about Santa.

Ive been itching to get this off my hairy chest. Now its time

Santa Claus a fraud

I don't like Santa Claus at all... His like a false idol in my book.

The 25th of December is the day that we celebrate the birth of Jesus... Santa Claus is nothing but a distraction. Taking the glory away from Christ

And why do we lie to kids about Santa... We teach them not to lie than we lie to them... Such hypocrites. Doesn't set a good example... Why do we need Santa claus, why not teach the kids to give gifs instead of expecting something from this false idol

Santa clause is a fraud... Invented by Coke to promote their product i believe. Maybe someone else can give us a bit more of a history lesson on him, the false idol

From very young i thought Santa was a fool... One Christmas morning i woke up to find a new bicycle under the tree... But it was a girls bike. I was sceptical from that day on

I wonder how Christians used to celebrate Christmas, pre Santa... Most likely by focusing more on Christ. We should go back to that i think

So then, what do you think... Is Santa a fraud?
:D Hahahaha, ho, ho, ho!

That's a great question!

I won't say I disagree, 'cause I don't...but there is another perspective that should be considered:

Most loving parents soften the blow of many of life's harsh realities, first with some imaginary tale, like a parable meant for children, told at their level. It's not lying, it's love, and gentleness. I mean, who has heard or told the stork or birds and bees stories--and why, because you could not have told the truth? No...but because that's just what loving parents do.

And yes, there may well be a dark side to those make believe clouds, but there is also a silver lining. When the time comes to know the more mature reality, hopefully there comes a smile of suspicion and an "I knew that!" ...as well as the gentle preparation needed to take hold of the greater truth.

So, yah, no one should tell or hear the story of Santa Claus--and stick to it. But wink, and go along as your own adult children do for their children, what you did for them...and hope and pray that the greater reality story of their actual loving, giving, Father in the sky is also told. And if it's not--the job of being a loving parent is not finished. But look on the bright side--you've got the perfect segue

Now, for the rest of the story...

I suppose if I were to answer the question seriously, Cristo Rea, if I had kids I would likely sit them down and from square one explain the real story of St. Nicholas, where we got "Santa Claus" from, that he was a Christian man who was very generous, and how it morphed into this jolly old St. Nick character that everybody dresses up as at the mall now. That way he wouldn't take it seriously, and could understand where that part of the customs came from, and just enjoy the season with a clear head.

As for Rudolf, I got nothin, LoL.

Hahaha. That sounds like a wise approach.

My dad had concreted his new house. I was about 6 or 7...
On Christmas day I found dog prints in the concrete but I took them as being reindeer prints and evidence of Santa being there...

I still enjoy the holidays and the communion with people.

Oh ye for sure and sharing gifts and feasting together and loving one another... Even the tree I don't mind... :)
I'm not a grinch like someone tried to accuse me of.... I just don't like the lie that tries to overshadow Christ
