Who are we to believe Christ and his elect, his bride, are speaking to if everyone has been annihilated or is burning in hell?

Very FEW in this age will every recieve the Christ given sight to see the connection between these verses and what, no - WHO - the lake of fire is.

It's likely Revelation (like the rest of the NT) was written before AD 70

Revelation speaks about the future (4:1) but in chapter 11 the temple is still in place, and the siege for Jerusalem by the Romans started in AD 66 and lasted forty-two months.
