I whole heartily concur-we did not choose Christ-He chose US and the "sensual love is none other than Eros and Porneia "love"-erotic and Porneia [guess you know where we getthat word from?]

There are several words translated into English as "love" from Koinē Greek.
philia - devoted friendship
storgē- strong, loyal family love (cf. Rom. 12:10)
eros - sexual love
mania - obsessive love
lodos - playful love
pragma - long term love
agapē -
Agapē was a rarely used root in classical Greek. The NT authors took this known but unused term and filled it with new meaning. It came to denote God's self-giving, no-strings-attached, covenant love. It is theologically parallel to the Hebrew hesed
The Septuagint (LXX) chose agapē to translate several Hebrew words for "love." The LXX was the Bible for the early church. This root becomes the one used for theological discussion. Paul highlights this term in his writings. It was the love of God and Christ which was the main theological assertion of all his theology. His beautiful discussion on "love" in 1 Corinthians 13 is a classic!
God's love for mankind is fully seen in His sending Jesus (cf. John 3:16; Rom. 5:8; 2 Cor. 5:21). This love is mandated in the Great Commission of the early church (cf. Matt. 28:18-20; Luke 24:46-47; Acts 1:8). The letter of 1 John fully developes this evangelistic mandate into the life of the local church (esp. 1 John 4).
Self-giving love becomes the marker of true, mature Christianity. The influence of the Fall (cf Genesis 3) is fully reversed in NT salvation.
agapao = to regard with favour, to make much of a thing or a person, on principle. The cause or ground of No. 2.
2. phileo = to kiss, to be fond of, having regard to feeling as distinct from principle. The demonstration of No. 1. Hence No. 2 is never used of man's love to God : this is always No. 1. Both words are used of God's love to man. No. 2 is used of the Lord's love for Lazarus (Joh_11:3; Joh_11:36) but not in v . Joh_11:5, where the sisters are included.
2. THE NOUN.
1. agape . No. 2 below, was the common word used by the Greeks, for love; and even this is far lower than the N.T. philadelphia ( = love of the brethren). Agape is spontaneous love, irrespective of "rights". The word was supposed to be peculiar to the N.T., but it is found in the Papyri .
2. philanthropia = philanthropy, or love of man, which did not go beyond giving man his "rights", among the Greeks. It is used in a higher sense in Tit_3:4; occurs elsewhere only in Act_28:2. Cp. the Adverb philanthropos (Act_27:3, "courteously").
3. THE ADJECTIVE.
agapetos = beloved. The word used of the Lord Jesus by the Father. See Mat_3:17; Mat_12:18; Mat_17:5. Mar_1:11; Mar_9:7. Luk_3:22; and in Mar_12:6. Luk_20:13, by Himself. A special epithet of the Saints in the Epistles.

To the trenches Johann its the final hour of a battle that has long raged throughout the world .
Its not new , BUT IT SURE HAS GROWN massive and it will only get worse in this world with whatever time we have left .
A love of delusion has been even since the days of the apostles . But its now waxed massive .
And now the delusion is unifying the secular world with all religions to unite as one under what they think ,
KEY WORD is THINK , IS LOVE . This love is a love that all who are of the world can and do and will unite under .
Its a love that truly is lust . IT cometh not of GOD . But beware it . FOR IT DOES make mention
of doing good to humanity . It will say do good to the poor , love your neighbor as yourself .
BUT if we examine what they mean by LOVE your neighbor as yourself , It simply means
ACCEPT THEM , accept their sins , just unify as one . THEY actually think its love
to accept the SIN as well as the sinner of said sin. Homosexuality is a huge example of what i mean .
THOUGH it be NOT the only SIN nor the only one they now accept and call love .
And worse , many within christendom have bought into the ideal
that LOVE MEANS , overlooking errors and faults within a person . Just overlook it , dont correct it .
Now in time that becomes this , THEY NO LONGER EVEN SEE IT AS SIN .
THEY then begin to embrace it as love and all the while , TRUTH becomes very hated .
This idea that seeker friendly brought into churches was the demise and destruction of them all .
Cause if sin and error is not corrected within the church
THE SIN AND ERROR BECOMES THE NORM , BECOMES ACCEPTED and TRUTH becomes hated more than ever .
AND THIS is exactly what is happening .

So then why do many accept the prosperity gospel or the social gospel .
One thing i do know is this . In every case where a word is put in front of the gospel
ITS BEEN FALSE . This includes , social gospel , inclusive gospel , prosperity gospel etc .
Every time a word has been put in front of the word gospel , ITS ALWAYS BEEN MANS OWN VERSION OF A GOSPEL .
YOU do the research and you will find out that i am right .
It will always present another jesus , another gospel .

You seem to tar and feather most, including myself, of an "own version of the gospel"-when you feel so strongly against this, call the person out for it definitely sounds like you have it right-others have it wrong, and willfully so.

Is there a difference in teaching error and false teaching
This question can be divided into unintentional teaching of error and intentionally teaching of error.
If one teaches error intentionally obviously he can be labeled a false teacher.
But what about when one teaches error unintentionally?
It does not matter, both are false teachers.
Remember Paul his whole life was zealous for God,
Philippians 3:6,
- concerning zeal persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law(his former life following the law of Moses) blameless
Paul said of himself he kept the law of Moses faithfully. He was zealous for following after God his whole life.
Paul says when christianity began he persecuted it zealously believing it was a false religion deceiving Jews to leave Judaism.
So Paul never persecuted christians thinking he was going against God.
Paul thought he was doing Gods will by persecuting christians.
Until Jesus came directly to Paul and revealed to him he was going against God, Acts 9:4-6
Paul was sincere His whole life in what he taught and practiced.
But Paul learned he was sincerely wrong.
Even though Paul's intentions were good.
And Paul believed that destroying christianity was Gods will.
So one can teach what they sincerely believe to be the truth and still be a false teacher.
Paul taught and fought against God with a clean conscience.
When Saul taught against christianity he taught false teaching.
Therefore Paul was a false teacher.
Knowingly teaching error or teaching error unintentionally qualifies as a false teacher.
Paul consents to one of Gods disciples being stoned to death,
Acts 7:59-60; 8:1,
- and they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying Lord Jesus, receive my spirit
....and when he had said this he fell asleep
- Now Saul(Paul) was consenting to his death,
Acts 8:3,
- as for Saul(Paul) he made havoc of the church, entering every house and dragging men off committing them to prison
Paul did this all in good conscience believing he was doing the Lords will
Acts 23:1,
- Then Paul looking earnestly at the council said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day(the present)
If you teach error you are a false teacher, it's that simple.
The only verse in the new testament that uses the term false teachers,
2Peter 2:1,
- But there were false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you...
Here Peter guided by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Peter taught the parallel of the false prophets in the old testament with false teachers of today.
We can learn from the old testament what the proper definition of a false teacher is
Notice that these false prophets were completely sincere in their error of teaching and practice
1Kings 18:22- 27; 28,
- Then Elijah said to the people, I alone am left a prophet of the Lord but Baals prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
- Elijah says to the prophets of Baal, Then you call on the name of your Gods and I will call on the name of the Lord and the God who answers by fire, He is God, so all the people answered and said, It is well spoken
27 - And so it was at noon that Elijah mocked them and said, Cry aloud for he is a god either he is meditating or he is busy or he is on a journey or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened
- 28 So they(false prophets of Baal) cried aloud and cut cut themselves as was their custom with knives and lances until the blood gushed out of them.
This proves the false prophets of Baal were sincere but sincerely wrong.
Conclusion: false teachers in 2Peter 2:1 also applies to sincere false prophets of Baal
Therefore either lying teachers or sincere teachers who believe they are telling the truth are Biblically defined as False teachers.
