Of course a person's opposition to getting a tatoo may have nothing to do with his toughness or the lack thereof. Who is leading people to the tatoo parlor? Do we really believe that it is God?Tattoos used to have a male, tough guy image, but this has changed immensely; it still does with some wearers but not remotely with all. (Although it could also be said that since 59%-70% or more of parlor clients in North America are female, according to statistics, women are evidently 'tougher' than men when it comes to being needled with ink...)
