Someone who is washed in the blood will fall on one side of any of those issues rather than the other...

Next...
What an empty and impotent statement.

True believers will automatically choose the "correct" side of those issues??
Why don't YOU tell me which is the "correct" side of EACH of those issues, hmmmm?

It's NOT hard to understand.

I DO have everlasting like - as long as I . . .
Endure to the end in faith (Matt. 24:13)
REMAIN
in Him (Matt. 5:13, 1 Cor. 9:27, 2 Peter 3:17, 1 John 2:24)

I DON'T get to KEEP everlasting life if I walk away from Him (Rom. 11:22, Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Pet. 2:20-22)
I have always agreed with what you are saying right now, as you are now saying it.

I would merely say that because I am sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5), I will...

Endure unto the end....
REMAIN in Him (for ever...1 John 2:17)...

I am not going to waste precious computer ink debating somebody that has been brain-washed all of their lives.....trust me —- I could. The truth is , I have been down this road so many times, I know that only the Holy Spirit can open your heart to the Truth, and I ain’t the Holy Spirit....these days, you and your ilk simply bore me . I WILL pray for you.....that is your only hope.
TRANSLATION:
"I can't refute ANY of your Scriptural evidence - so I'll stick to these asinine little rants instead."

That's what I thought.
Then step aside and make room for somebody who can actually present a valid case for OSAS . . .

If I believe on Him, I "have" everlasting rather than temporal life.

What about that is so hard for you to understand?

You need to take the holy scriptures at face value or you will never understand how they coincide.

Hello justbyfaith,

Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.

What do you think everlasting life is?

Peace be with you!

WHY?
I'n NOT the one who said that true believers will fall on the correct side of each issue - YOU did.

Care to retract that irresponsible statement?
No, I care to substantiate it scripturally.

The Holy Ghost is "the Spirit of truth"...

So if He dwells in a man, He will give that man the knowledge of the truth in due time (John 16:13).

Life that will last for ever (your last breath on earth is your first breath in heaven)...that begins at the moment of first faith (John 5:24 (kjv)).

I couldn't agree with you more.
"IF" He continues to dwell in a man.

Some people toss him aside after a while.

He seals true believers until the day of redemption, according to scripture (Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5).

His seal is HIS promise that HE is not the one who is going to break the Covenant.

That doesn't mean that WE won't break it - and thus, the warnings . . .
Matt. 7:19-23, Matt. 10:22, Matt. 24:13, Matt. 25:31–46, John 15:1-6, Rom. 11:22, 1 Cor. 4:4, 1 Cor. 9:27, 1 Cor. 10:12, 1 Tim. 4:1, 1 Tim. 4:16, 2 Tim. 2:12, Heb. 3:6, Heb. 3:12-14, Heb 6:4-6, Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Pet. 2:20-21, 2 Pet. 3:17, 1 John 2:24, 1 John 5:13, Rev. 3:5, Rev. 22:19

And do we have that life in ourselves? Can we walk away from Jesus and still live?

As a result of this, many (of) his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him.

Peace!

Right...

Going back to Jeremiah 32:38-40 (kjv), Psalms 19:9 (kjv) for the fiftieth time...those who have the fear of the LORD (who heed the warnings) shall not ever depart from Him.
