Who Jesus will Return for and Catch up at the (Rapture) Answer =Hebrews 9:28=Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To ""those who eagerly wait for Him"" He will appear a second time.
Those that do not look for and expect the rapture are left behind and then must then try to live under anti-christ rule.

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 21:36

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
Just believe God's Word on the catching up (rapture)??

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain """shall be caught up together""" with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words1 Corinthians 15:51- 57
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

GINOLJC, to all,

is this not the Parousia of our Lord? this is clearly the Second Advent of of our Lord that you're describing. so are you calling the Parousia of our Lord, the same ... as some say is the Rapture?

because remember, this is his "SECOND" apperance, because he came on Pentecost in Spirit. so you're equating the Rapture with the Lord's Parousia correct... I Just want to be sure before I comment futher.

I think maybe he speaking of the idea or doctrine that’s taught where Jesus supposedly returns to take the good people to heaven to return with them at a later date to murder all of the bad people?

Thanks for the clarification, but I'm still at a loss of words in the description. let me explain, if this is the "SECOND" apperance, as stated, here's the quote,
Who Jesus will Return for and Catch up at the (Rapture) Answer =Hebrews 9:28=Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To ""those who eagerly wait for Him"" He will appear a second time.

so if this is the "SECOND" apperance, (Hebrew 9:28), describing the "RAPTURE, then we have a problen, listen, 2 Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" 2 Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
2 Thessalonians 2:5 "Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"
2 Thessalonians 2:6 "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time."
2 Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."
2 Thessalonians 2:8 "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"

now in his "SECOND" Coming, (Hebrew 9:28) is a destroying coming according to 2 Thessalonians 2:8. so there is no other coming after this one.

Maybe I'm missing something, maybe you can correct me and point me in the right direction.

see, I cannot reconcile Hebrews 9:28 to a Rapture, and then another coming after that... do you see my point... so I'll wait to hear your response.

Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."

here, Revelation 1:7 is what Hebrews 9:28 is describing. a second Apperance, and in "EVERY" eye will see him, that's an APPERANCE, that's the second coming. and in this "APPERANCE", 2 Thessalonians 2:8 "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"

Now there are two coming, or RETURNS of the Lord Jesus. a. in manifestation, which happen on Pentecost, and b. in flesh and bone, "WHEN EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM, (Rev 1:7), which is yet to happen.

there is only two returns, and one has already taken place... in Spirit on Pentecost. now his Parousia, "APPERANCE", (Hebrew 9:28), awaits us. unless there is a third coming, if so please point it out in the bible.

see this is how a discussion suppose to go. ASK question to discuss about one's belifs, and not ask question to ARGUE one's beliefs.

No.
Clearly:
Man became SO CORRUPT, Gods Wrath came upon the Earth, Destroying MEN with the Earth.
Eight Faithful were Saved from the Destruction ON the Earth.
Eight Faithful were Saved BY BEING Risen Above the Face of the Earth.

That was called...The Great Flood.

Prophecy reveals Another Destruction UPON the Face of the Earth. Greater than the Flood, Greater than ever was or will be Again.

Again this Coming Destruction is Coming Because of Gods Wrath Against a World that REJECTS Him.

Open Eyes...Rejection of the Lord God is Tolerated, Preached, Promoted, Encouraged, In Every Nation, and Rewarded with ribbons, trophies, money...
Unto every person denying the Lord God and Exalting Mankind "greater" than the Lord God.

Again those "OF" the World WILL Experience The Lord Gods WRATH.

Again AS in Noah's Day, the Faithful WILL be Risen up Above the Face of the Earth, as the Earth is Again Destroyed.

No Bodily Earthly man Came Down From Heaven and No Bodily Earthly man Shall Rise UP to Heaven.

Clearly The Faithful Shall be Risen UP Above the Face of the Earth TO the CLOUDS.

The Lord Gods Plan may not be Favorable to you, understood by you, believed by you...
None the less IT is Gods Will and Shall Come to pass.

Gen 6
[13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Gen 7
[18] And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

Luke 17
[26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

John 3
[13] And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Matt 24
[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

1 Thes 4:
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven (pay attention TO the Clouds!) with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thes 5:
[9] For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ...

Rev 6
[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Rev 12
[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters OF the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Rom 1:
[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rev 16:
[1] And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

•Jesus CAME TO Earth From Heaven.
Jesus Returned From Earth TO Heaven.
The "Lord" Descends From Heaven TO THE CLOUDS.
•(Do you know the Clouds are NOT Heaven?
Do you know the CLOUDS are NOT Earth?)
• Do you not read the knowledge IN Scripture?

A man IN Christ...is WHOLLY Restored ...
Body dead, Soul Restored, Spirit Born Again...
Separated From men "OF" the World.

John 17
[14] I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

2 Cor 5
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A separation IS Coming.
Devastation ... The Lambs Wrath, Gods Wrath upon those "OF" the World.

Preparation IS Unfolding before our Eyes.
Men are Choosing their Allegience...
TO the Lord God..."IN Christ"
TO MAN, having subjected himself to The Evils and Wickedness of the Devil...OF satan.

You can't be BOTH...
IN Christ
and
OF the World.

Luke 12
[23] He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me ........scatterth

so which is it Gods wrath or the devils wrath,

The first Wrath of Revelations...
IS Upon those who have Rejected Jesus.
The Wrath of the Lamb.
That is All who have rejected Jesus.
There is a Divide of men on the Earth.
Men who believe in God- ISRAEL.
Men also who Do Not Believe in God.
ISRAEL is sent Hebraic/Jewish Teachers from God...ISRAEL begins learning Jesus is the Christ and Believe and Become SOUL Saved.
They willingly physically Die (at the hands of the antichrists).
That rejection is The Devils wrath, because they; ISRAEL Rejects the Devil...and thus kills them.
-Those in Christ...are already removed from the Earth.
-Then the Saved Souls of Men who Are Israel are removed from the Earth.
(Deeper study, small remnant of Believers Saved remain mortals on Earth)
-Then those Of The Beast remaining OF the Earth Suffer Gods Wrath and Revenge.
(More happens thereafter)

And who is Scripture telling to rejoice if none dwell in heaven?

I didn't say none dwell in Heaven.
Holy Angel's Dwell in Heaven.
Saved Souls of Physically Dead BODIES dwell in Heaven.
Quickened (Born Again Spirits) of Physically Dead BODIES of men dwell in Heaven.
Body's OF men come out of the Earth, Physically Die, Return to the Earth.

yes, there is another destruction that is coming. and the bible has, as with Noah and the flood, has he given us another example of this destruction. these 8 souls was not Raptured off the earth but was delievered above the earth in the "AIR", the first heaven... (smile). the same instrument that destroyed the wicked was the same instrument of salvation for Noah and his Family. and we get a glimpse of the second cleasening of the Earth. "FIRE", in the story of the three Hebrew boys, meshach shadrach and abednego who was thrown into the fiery furnace. as with Noah and his family, God did not remove these boy from the furnace, he "delievered"/Save them in the fiery furnace. and those who threw them in the fire, was consume by the same fire. just as the instrument of water that "SAVED" the righteous, and destroyed the wicked, likewise the instrument of FIRE is used to save/Deliver the righteous, and destroy the wicked.

but did one notice a familiar Pattern here? 1st Salvation/destruction instrument used is "WATER". hence, "WATER" baptism. the 2nd. Salavation/destruction instrument used is "FIRE". hence the baptism of the Holy Spirit/Fire. supportive scripture, Matthew 3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

is the bible trying to tell us something?

Yep follow the parallels....
Yes the Earth...was corrupt..."washed"...it was temporary...the Baptism of the Holy Spirit introduced, the Baptism of His Spirit (power) entering a man, destroying what is corrupt, Purifying (fire) that which is saved.

Heb 12:
[29] For our God is a consuming fire.

Consuming fire...destroy/or purify
Two edged sword...destroy/or save

Even the Saved have Works that "do not" measure up..."that Glorify God"...those works shall be burned.
And the "works Accomplished by the Saved", that do Glorify God? Their "reward" is a treasure stored up in Heaven.

Matt 6:
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
[20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
[21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Rev 22:
[12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I'm sorry, but there is not a single Scripture that says this, that there is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church, leaving lukewarm Christians behind in the Tribulation, suffering Antichristian rule!

On the contrary, history tells us that good Christians continued to live under pagan Roman rule in the Early Church. And the book of Revelation was written to them, encouraging them to be good witnesses in difficult times. They were never promised escape by Pretribulation Rapture. Instead, they were encouraged that with their endurance they would be rewarded when the Kingdom of Christ comes.

This is the message of Revelation--not a Pretribulation Rapture. You do a grave disservice to this book when you teach the exact opposite of what the message in that book is!

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

This verse refers to the fact we are not designed to enter into *eternal wrath* either by judgments in this life or in the life to come. It has nothing to do, specifically, with the time often referred to as "the Tribulation of Antichrist."

Quite frankly, the "Tribulation" is mischaracterized as Antichristian persecution. It really has to do with the sufferings God inflicts upon the world, including upon Antichrist, for their sins. Thus, the Reign of Antichrist is not really a "Tribulation Period." It is actually a period of persecution of Christians by the Antichrist, coupled with God's judgment coming down upon those who follow Antichrist.

You are here conflating the events of 70 AD with the time of the Antichrist, which you refer to as "the Tribulation Period." Jesus here was actually referring to the judgment of 70 AD, which God was directing at unbelieving Israel, and not at believing followers of Christ. Christians were advised to avoid this judgment, since it was not directed towards them.

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
Just believe God's Word on the catching up (rapture)??

Where does the "inspired, eternal living Word of God" say that Christians are "left behind" after a Pre-Tribulation Rapture? It doesn't say this anywhere in the Scriptures. You completely make this up, and then shame those who actually believe what the Word of God has said, that Christians will faithfully go through the reign of Antichrist, and come out victorious.

Rev 14.12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
16.15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”
16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
20.4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
22.18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

All of these verses commend Christians for holding to their witness during the reign of Antichrist, who are promised resurrection when they are martyred. They are not "left behind." On the contrary, they are encouraged to endure this faithfully in times such as this.

All of these verses commend Christians for holding to their witness during the reign of Antichrist, who are promised resurrection when they are martyred. They are not "left behind." On the contrary, they are encouraged to endure this faithfully in times such as this.

What "real" believer is not one of those""those who eagerly wait for Him""=Jesus= He will appear a second time.
