Since we must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved, it is only when we are saved that we are born again. Which means that obedience to the Gospel produces the New Birth (1 Peter 1:23-25).

Then we have this passage (Eph 1:13) to confirm this truth: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise...

One cannot be sealed with the Holy Spirit until and unless one is born of the Spirit (born again), and one cannot be born again until and unless he or she has believed the Gospel, the Word of Truth, which is the *incorruptible seed* of the New Birth.

Satan is constantly trying to confuse and deceive Christians about Gospel truth through others, and using MacArthur quite effectively. That is because he chose man-made doctrines by adopting Calvinism.

Hebrews 9:23 tells us that the blood of Jesus is applied in the tabernacle in heaven and that animal sacrifices are a type of this action by the Lord, exemplified in the tabernacle on earth, in which His blood was applied to the altar and to the mercy seat, in heaven.

No one is truly born again that way. That is only the path as to becoming born again, as one only has faith in Jesus is the Christ, such is like the disciples had faith in Jesus was the Christ, but they never truly knew him ? they were not born again until Jesus went to Heaven and the Holy Spirit then came to them who had eyes to see and ears to hear, that's when the light came on as to who he truly was in fact. they did not do the will of the Father before that.
For example Peter even denied Jesus as Jesus said he would 3 times before the cock crowed, chopped off a dudes ear and such was a carnal move that Jesus disapproved. Jesus was setting the Kingdom of God out for us, he was not of this Sin led world. he did not want this world for us at all, he wanted us all to have the Kingdom of God.

Before one is born again one is of little faith, but after you have been truly born again, then you have the faith that can move mountains, no one can snatch such a one out of Gods hand, because they are His people Israel. servants of God, they do not serve mans works, they are in the Kingdom of God and they then are sent out by God among the wolves in this world.

One can not claim to be born again by your own authority, most people I have seen that display such to others are only talking to other people, but could they say such to God ? it's Jesus will that one is truly born again and it's only him who bestows such on one himself, like he did with Saul to become Paul.

Wow, I had no idea MacArthur said this about the blood of Jesus! Under the Old Covenant, God required the yearly shedding of the blood of animals on the Day of Atonement. Jesus shed His blood as the Lamb of God once for all.

I have pointed out in my other post, the "blood of Jesus" refers really to His life. And that when scriptures speak of the blood of Jesus, it is a figure of speech that refers to His life as a whole.
