http://koti.phnet.fi/petripaavola/kingdomdominion.htmlKingdom-Dominion heresy is not a new false belief, but an old heresy, which had an effect on the Latter Rain movement and so called Toronto Revival (Toronto blessings). The Latter Rain movement taught that there is no rapture, no antichrist, no great tribulation: church will win the world and take over it by the power of the faith, whereby the whole world will come to believe to Jesus Christ and after that Jesus Christ will come. Among Toronto Revival believers were preachers, who taught Kingdom-Dominion heresy. Kingdom-Dominion theologises also distort prophetic gifts and through these "gifts" they control people. They also demand that people must listen and believe them.

There is one thing in this post is correct. There is NO RAPTURE in God's Words. All the others is downright ridiculous and blasphemy.

This doctrine is what I call the "Ultimate Christianization of the World" teaching and is indeed heresy. The crux is that the Kingdom is within us, Christ is in our hearts, we are blessed with "spiritual riches" (whatever that means) and through some Godly power the whole world will eventually be Christianized and that is the presence of the Kingdom.Yeah, right, and there's a Santa Claus, too. Once some people remove the rose-colored glasses, it does not take too much honesty to admit the world is getting WORSE with more apostasy. It'll take a returning victorious Christ to accomplish that, and a select few to rule and reign with Him (a little flock aka the church) to do that and only that way will the masses be converted. This age is merely the firstfruits of a greater harvest.

Christianity is growing in many parts of the world, even as it fades in the West, a trend measured in mere decades. But, do you know what the future holds in another 100 years? How about a 1000 years?

Jesus and the disciples preached a message called "the Gospel of the Kingdom." Matt. 9:35 says,"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom..."It is related to, but not the same message as, the gospel of personal salvation that is generally preached today. In preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, there was no appeal to join an organization which men might designate by various denominational names. It was an appeal to "repent," or to change one's belief system from one thing to another. Men were either building kingdoms of man or the Kingdom of God. The Gospel of the Kingdom presented the appeal to believe in (have faith in) God and to build and promote His Kingdom. There are many "cult watchers" in the Church who are quick to label any new or small religious group a "cult." By this, they usually mean a minority religion, and when it finally gets a million members, they are promoted to "religion." All respectable Christian denominations today were once called "cults" by their doctrinal adversaries in competing denominations. This label was designed to evoke fear of cults, rather than faith in Jesus. I have seen many Christians who were so fearful of being drawn into a cult that they refused to study the Scriptures from any but their own Church leadership. To me, a cult is defined primarily by fear and worship of man. To the degree that a Church (or any other religious organization) rules by fear, rather than teaching faith, it is a cult. Likewise, to the degree that a group promotes its own religious leader or its earthly organization as "the true Church," it is a cult. If an organization teaches that one must become a member of their earthly organization in order to enjoy a relationship with God, it is the worship of man disguised as the worship of God. It is a cult, regardless of its IRS status or how many members it has. Those who are acclaimed by man as religious leaders are not necessarily the great ones of His Kingdom. There are certainly some leaders who are humble and who have a right heart in this matter. But the most visible of them are often the ones most concerned with promoting themselves. Human nature being what it is, they often conclude that the only way to promote God's Kingdom is to promote themselves, because the world has taught them that no one will listen to them unless they promote and advertise themselves.Unfortunately, there is much truth in that belief. Men do tend to follow the glitz, glamour, and money that is evident from a proper public relations campaign. We are conditioned to this mindset by every political election."The Kingdom of God is within you," Jesus said in Luke 17:21. The word "within" is from the Greek word entos, which means "in, in the midst of, or among." Some say it means the Kingdom is within a person--that is, not external. Some say it means the kingdom is "among" you in the sense that Jesus, the King, was among the people. Dr. Bullinger tells in his notes in The Companion Bible that since Jesus was addressing His bitter enemies, the Kingdom was not in THEIR hearts; and thus, it means that Jesus Christ was among them, in their midst, though unrecognized.I have no problem with either interpretation. Since the Kingdom of Israel had been destroyed and dispersed by the Assyrians in 721 B.C., the Kingdom had ceased to exist. Since that time, God has been working to re-establish His Kingdomin the earth as a visible entity. At present, He is calling people to be its citizens, because at present it has no territory and has not yet been re-organized as at the first at Mount Sinai.Logabe

A name itself has no substance.

The sort of question that we need to be asking is "why was it necessary for a "Latter Rain"movement or any movement to come into being?"The usual reason is the the church has fossilised and is no longer a true reprsentation of the Kingdom of God. That is why the pentecostal movement took place and it is interesting to note that they usually oppose new movements now, not only Latter Rain but the charismatic move of the 60s in the UK. It is common for the established church to opppose anything that threatens its existence. Like all moves of God, if it is of God it will succeed, If it isn't it will die out. Very often, you get a fragile expression of christianity that develops over time and becomes more stable and effective. What we have to be careful of is to avoid calling a work of the Holy Spirit the work of satan as that is blasphemy. I note in the Kingdom dominion link it does that with Toronto. THose who are prepared to investigate the truth, will find that satan cannot help people fall in love with Jesus.I have followed Toronto for some years and the overwhelming testimony from people who attend is that they were brought into a new and more powerful experience of Jesus. Satan cannot do that and would not want to do that. No move of God has all the right doctrine and as Logabe has said, once you believe that you are a cult, so latter rain is not all bad as the following teaching shows. All of them are scriptual. Unlike Pentecostals who traditionally held that the baptism of the Holy Spirit usually comes after prolonged "tarrying" or waiting for the Spirit, the Latter Rain movement taught that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be imparted on one believer by another through the laying on of hands. NOTE: this happened in the NT.The Latter Rain taught that there would be a restoration of the five ministerial roles mentioned in Ephesians 4:11: [1] (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher). It was believed that the foundational roles of apostle and prophet had been lost after the time of the first apostles due to the Dark Ages, but that God was restoring these ministries in the present day. These ideas are part of the "prophetic movement" and "New Apostolic Reformation". NOTE: There is no indication in scripture that they were only for the NT church.A major theme of the Latter Rain was "unity" among the believers, in the church service, in the geographic region, and at large. They taught that God saw the church organized not into denominational camps, but along geographical lines as in the book of Acts. One church, but in different locations. They expected that in the coming last days, the various Christian denominations would dissolve, and the true church would coalesce into city wide churches under the leadership of the newly-restored apostles and prophets. NOTE: This is how the NT operated.A major feature of the expected latter rain would be the "Manifestation of the Sons of God." The Latter Rain movement taught that as the end of the age approached, that the "overcomers" would arise within the Church. There was debate among various branches as to the nature and extent of this manifestation. These Manifest Sons of God, ones who have come into the full stature of Jesus Christ would receive the spirit without measure. They would be as Jesus was when He was on earth, they would receive a number of divine gifts, including the ability to change their physical location, to speak any language through the Holy Spirit, and would be able to perform divine healings and other miracles. They would complete the work of God restoring man's rightful position as was originally mandated in Genesis, and at last by coming into the full stature of Christ usher in the millennial reign of Christ. Extreme versions of this spoke of Jesus as a "pattern" Son and applied (Ps. 82:6) "ye are gods," to this coming company of believers. NOTE: Jesus said we would do greater works than he did.

The sons of God can often in scripture be Angels one third of these Angels fell in Gen 6 they are the Fallen ones..i.e the fallen Angels their leader is Satan. Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?(Stars here are Angels)They are prophcised to Return, However they are the Locust Army of Rev. They are Satans army of fallen Angels these Angels come first to reap their harvest that is the Tares (see Parable of the Tares)Gods people are to wait you do not want to be harvested out of Season. You do not want to be the first taken out of the field(earth)http://www.christianityboard.com/two-field...t=parable+TaresSo anyone believing these Sons of God raise up to do gods work had better read their Bible closley God does say he will raise up his Sons of God.It says He gathers the Saints, calls his Elect and sends two wittness's Then he returns to harvest the wheat(beleivers)

I hasten to add that the term "manifested sons" is nothing more than one coined by the movement to give it a distinctive and make the movement sound more biblical and "chosen".I remember being told as a young christian that only the baptists were right because they baptised by immersion and of course the roman church says they are the only ones that are right because Jesus founded their church. In the early 1900s, the pentes were God's chosen people because they promoted the baptism of the Spirit, and the apostolics were the chosen ones because they reintroduced apostles and prophets, and of course the Lutherans were right because they reintroduced salvation by faith alone, not by works, and the Presbyterians were right because they reintroduced government by a plurality of elders, and the Anglicans were right because they introduced a church that was seperated from an apostate Roman church, and the methodists were right because they introduced lay ministry and the class meeting and so it goes on. Now we have an emerging church or home church model that is ditching organised religion to rediscover authentic faith, based on relationships.whose right and whose wrong? I guess they all are because the biggest mistake we make is to introduce a new expression of christianity and then to institutionalise it and say we are the only ones that are right. The scripture says we are being changed from glory to glory. The key word here is "change". If we are not changing and evolving then we are missing God's glory so maintaining the status quo is the enemy of establishing God's kingdom.

The only one who was right completely is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. (John 1:1, John 1:4, John 1:14) And the thing is right is the Word of God. (John 8:32, John 8:36)I'm not interested in which church is right or wrong. All of them are made by men and of men. God is not limited to buildings.

I would like to say that I concure with this rendition of the "Kingdom Dominion" or "latter rain" or "manifested sons" teaching and beliefs. As the late Bill Britton taught, the so-called "latter rain" movement, wasn't really the fulfillment of the Latter Rain as taught in the Scriptures according to Hosea 6:1-3. It was indeed, the beginning, or continuing...of the restoration of Truth, and a prelude to the called out "Remnant" readying themselves for the "latter and former rains" coming together in the endtime. It is this latter and former Rain "coming together" which will put the final touches of perfection and maturity on the Body of Christ, and the birthing forth of the "manchild" company of manifested sons. The quickening of the manifested sons...caught up to the Throne...the authority and power of God, to "set creation free". Romans 8:18-21According to James 5:7,"...until He receive the early and latter rain", God himself is awaiting the results of the former and latter rains manifesting upon His true Church...the Bride of Christ.Bill Britton actually had a very balanced and Scripturally inspired prophetic version of the "manifested sons", overcomers, and the called out remnant teaching. All or any forum readers might want to look into his writings.

I believe God gave dominion to man, he messed up.Jesus came back to give us dominion back. This is a spiritual kingdom, not of this world. I do not believe the Christians will take over the world....not until our King returns! But in the spiritual realm we do have power to overcome!

Looking at 1Peter 3:22..."angels and principalities and powers BEING MADE subject unto Him", and 1 Corin. 15:24-28..."for He must reign TIL...all enemies are put under His feet...including death...", and Acts 3:21..."Whom (Jesus) the heavens must receive UNTIL the restitution of all things..." I wonder if Christ does not "physically" return until AFTER the thousand year reign, when it has been manifestly proven that man can live a "thousand year" Day without dying (unless he allows himself to be killed as Jesus could do). During this time God's people are truly "ruling and reigning with Him" in a spiritual sense with Christ fully exercising His Headship through them.In other words, death is not "put under the feet" of the Body of Christ until the end of, and in the process of...the thousand year reign. In other words also, we don't receive our glorified bodies until AFTER the thousand year reign. What do y'all think?

That's incorrect, we will NOT be human at the Mellineum Reign. We will not be in this flesh body.I Corinthians 15:44 - It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body....I Corinthians 15:50 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.I Corinthians 15:51-52 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Not just Christians, not just the Jews, but everybody in this world.

So there will be no births for 1000 years?
