I'd be reducing the medication that causes me a lack of motivation from 6.75mg to 6.5mg, so I'm happy about that! My psychiatist knows that I reduce once a month.

Hi Helen, good to see you. What have you been up to. I've been on a weekend break to Beverley in est Yorkshire over the last bank holiday weekdend and I'm eventually getting to know my littlest 2 yr old grandaughter. I still miss Ray but I'm doing well with Gods support and love.

I think you will always miss Ray …I still miss my old parent who lived with us 15 years !
It’s the talking- bit that I miss.

Did your daughter in law marry again …they got divorced didn’t they ? Or did they get back together ….i forget , it’s been too long. Sorry . Grandchildren are such fun , but I cringe for the world that they are inheriting.

you are braver than me in traveling ….I’m a coward these days …I would dread traveling I think.
We are the same age but for 3 months I think , yet I think health wise you are in much better shape than I am . I try to hang on to the Lord and live above it! Some days I let that goal slip (;

Are you still a dog mom ? Or are they all over the rainbow bridge now?
since we were married 64 years ago we are on our 5 dog . Stormy passed 16 months ago …we now baby sit our granddaughters dog …he get him at the crack of dawn , and she picks him up after work. ( unless it’s a sleepover , which are many )

Wife and I are celebrating our 36 anniverary today. God has been very good to us in our marraige. Lot's of other things not so good, but this is very good!

congrats on your 36th anniversary …in this day and age that is awesome …we old guys are awesome too , Dave and I are coming up on out 64th anniversary this summer. That how old we are now …old as dirt haha!
great to see you again Mark , maybe I’ll hang around here for a while and keep an eye on you , maybe I’ll learn something to keep my old brain cells from drying up !

Well, I lost my boy Adam (whom I can still cry easily thinking of) 2 years ago March 9th. Then my sweetest Babygirl passed behind my knees overnight where she always slept on Labor day last year. I have my 9 year old Jazzy still, thank God as I would die of loneliness without the stinker! Lol.
It must be so nice to have the company of your granddaughters beloved pet!

My daughters have never been divorced, they have both been married for over twenty years. It is my son's ex who has been causing all the family anguish and they were never married. The ages of my grandchildren range from 35 to 2 and a great grandson who is 5. My youngest grandson was just 21 last week.

Thanks for your reply , yes I was thinking of your daughter -in Law Bev who has caused grief in past years .
I’m on a Facebook page in fact two or three , English countryside and British wild flowers etc .
my English pages cheer me up and bring back many happy memories.
sadly the reason I told Dave that I’d never go back again was because the England I remembered and the England that is now…are two totally different Englands , it made me too sad seeing it…I never wanted to come back after 2006 …we used to go back every two years , and did so from ‘76- ’06 which was our last visit .
Rachel ( niece ) goes for long walks and sends me wonderful country scenery…even in rain

My son's ex is callec Rachel and Bev is my lovely daughter who treated me to the weekend break a few weeks ago. I am cooking for her and Anthony tomorrow evening as a thank you.

I think the pretty parts of England are still pretty but the culture has changed so much. We are no longer English but a mix of races. And the problems that brings are obvious. We've always had open borders and welcomes Chinese, Polish Italian and many others including Jamaicans, but they all seemed to fit in with our society today's 'foreigners' seem to want us to change to suit them. Oh well change is here to stay.
