A practicing homosexual is not a Christian. Jesus takes away our sins unto death out of our nature. Paul talks of those who used to be homosexuals but no more in that congregation. God loved them enough to cleanse them. But God will not go against our own free-will if they want to still practice. But they aren't saved.
