"Till He come..." is the context of the church showing His death.Where is a harpazo in 1 Corinthians 11:26 ???
It's about being born again into the church.Exactly! But humans are either saved or lost, irrespective of race. Race does not matter today. It is all about grace.
Thats not a seizing of treasure out of danger which is harpazo"Till He come..." is the context of the church showing His death.
It's about being born again into the church.
What isn't of God's treasure in that sense will face the Great Tribulation, Matthew 24; Luke 21. The church does not go through the Great Tribulation.Thats not a seizing of treasure out of danger which is harpazo
All of Israel will be reborn, and will be a nation of priests to the rest of the world. The 12 Apostles will be the judges over the 12 tribes. David will be king over them, and Jesus, King of Kings, will be King over David, and all the other kings of the earth.`David my servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in my judgments and observe my statuew, and do them. Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children`s children, forever; and my servant David shall be their prince forever.....
The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst for evermore.` (Ez. 37: 24 - 28)
But harpazo is not found in the verse and neither in its context. I was curious and did a Google search to see if it’s something others believe. I found nothing. What isn't of God's treasure in that sense will face the Great Tribulation, Matthew 24; Luke 21. The church does not go through the Great Tribulation.
Caught up indeed; waiting for Him, 'till He com'.
There is tribulation; John 16.33.But harpazo is not found in the verse and neither in its context. I was curious and did a Google search to see if it’s something others believe. I found nothing.
Tribulation is not God’s wrath. All throughout the Bible, we are told to endure thlipsis. Even in Revelation, the first mention of wrath doesn’t occur till after the 6th seal is opened. Even then, it’s suggested by wicked men, but do they know what constitutes wrath?
Revelation 6:9-11, Revelation 7:14, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, Revelation 18:4, Revelation 19:7-8 all disagree with you. There is tribulation; John 16.33.
But the great tribulation does not involve the church, Matthew 24; Luke 21.
It's not Israel or Gentiles in view in 1 Thess. 4, where harpazo is used.
I know this is what many imagine, but you have explained allegory with allegory.
Please understand that even we are only an image in part of all that is true in the creation and the word. For this same reason Jesus came preaching--not what the kingdom heaven is, but saying rather, "The kingdom of heaven is like..." Allegory.
We reign not as overseers. Christ always taught that we humble ourselves as servants to each other. I don’t take Reigning as an act of command over lesser subjects. Rather, elevated to a position in authority where previously we were subject to ridicule, persecution and scoffers. Then, when reigning, others wish to learn of God. Who was once attacked is now sought after for knowledge. Will there be wickedness still? I think so because death still lives till it’s destroyed. And wickedness allows Satan to tempt others after the reign when he’s freed. There will be those who administer justice and those that are needing to learn. Outside of the city are those that cannot enter in right?
You yourself have shown what you do not see, in that you Jesus then coming and explaining the reality of those Old Testament scriptures as being "like."Hi Scott,
I do not see the word `like` in Micah 4 where we learn that the nations go up to Jerusalem to learn the ways of the Lord and do not learn war anymore. I also do not see the word `like` in Zech. 14: 16 where the nations (that are left after all the nations came against Israel,) go up to Jerusalem to worship the King.
When Jesus was telling the people of Israel about the millennial kingdom, he was describing its rulership and who would be there. Every parable was linked to an Old Testament scripture that the people should have known. The parables were based on actual promises of God to Israel.
To all who desire to just talk about `life in the millennium,` we need to NOT answer those who want to say there is no millennium. If we don`t answer them then the moderators can take them off the thread.
I know that in any topic there are side issues, but saying there is no millennium is not for this thread and just stops us from actually talking about the topic. So if you can please refrain from answering those who say there is no millennium then we can have a good Biblical discussion.
Thank you, Marilyn.
You haven't debunked anything
No earthly kingdom, throne, or humans is seen in Revelation 20:1-6 as you claim, who you kidding, not me!
I quoted the part you didn’t bold.Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you,
Marilyn, do you see this temple as only physical? If so, why would God need a physical temple if our bodies are to be temples. Why would Paul and Christ draw comparisons to our body housing God where we offer sacrifices and to keep ourselves holy because the temple should never be polluted? I do see a third temple, but it’s in us today and I see no reason for it to be superseded by a brick and mortar one.A new temple will be built upon the site of Solomon`s Temple. The Lord has laid down the exact dimensions and requirements for this holy place in His word. (Ezekiel) Then God`s glory will fill the sanctuary in this new Temple. The Prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of this.
