in the world, a life well lived is one were one can seize the opportunity to get what they want. doesn't matter what others think or even whether they oppose one's efforts to satisfy one's wants and needs.

its no secret that the Kingdom of Heaven and the world are contrary to one an other, hence one can't mix one with the other without distress of some kind.

if the Kingdom of Heaven interferes with what the world wants, what happens?
and if the world interferes with what the Kingdom of God wants, what happens?

The difference being..with one there is a great and lasting reward...and the other one ends in ashes. Sometimes it is had to stay focussed when we see the world prosper and ourselves not so much. Depending on what we personally see as 'prosperity.'
I am sure we have all tried to walk with one foot in each...but we learn by falling flat on our face...it doesn't work!

so is pursuing what is seen as "prosperity" or want justified, or just not matter what it is?
