I would have you know, that the IMAGE of every man is Christ; and the IMAGE of the woman is the man; and the IMAGE of Christ is God.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his FACE covered, dishonoureth his IMAGE.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her FACE uncovered dishonoureth her IMAGE: BECAUSE that is even all one IMAGE as if she were shaven.
BECAUSE if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven LIKE A MAN, let her be covered.
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
BECAUSE a man indeed ought not to cover his FACE, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
BECAUSE the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
BECAUSE this cause ought the woman to have AUTHORITY on her IMAGE because of the angels.
As it is written:
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
That God is Jesus and the us is the body of Christ: the angels of God in heaven.

They were referring to his angel he was made in the image of.
