And yet say WE SEE , thus their sin remains . Time for us to actually POINT to JESUS CHRIST and ALL
things He did teach , as did those apostels and the first ones .
As have and as has every true sheep throughout every generation since then has .
SO on those feet mathew . AND i noticed you said you are staying in scripture . GOOD . continue to read daily the bible
and stay in prayer .

Its not that we do absolutely nothing at all and are automatically saved, yet grace and redemption through Christ is God's part and receiving the gift of eternal life through faith is our part.
where is that in mt 25

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

After a casual reading of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46), these verses "on the surface" may seem to suggest that salvation is the result of good works. Yet scripture proves itself right and non-contradictory when compared with the totality of scripture. This passage has to be taken alongside the whole of scripture. Jesus was not advocating salvation by works. That would be contrary to Romans 4:4-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5 etc... One's works are an effect of (and therefore indication of) one's salvation status, rather than being a cause of one's salvation. This is not performance-based salvation, but salvation-based performance.

The good deeds mentioned in Matthew 25:35-36 are merely the fruit that will be manifest in the lives of the sheep. Those who are placed at Christ's right hand are not there based on the merits of their good deeds, but because of the imputed righteousness of God by faith. (Romans 4:2-6; Philippians 3:9) When works are mentioned in connection with salvation, the works are always the result of, not the condition of, receiving salvation. The stress is on works as a manifestation of one's faith (or lack thereof) and not simply on faith from which these works follow. So, it is understandable that in this context, Matthew would stress the works done in love (faith works through love - Galatians 5:6) which are a manifestation of faith by which one receives eternal life.

*Notice how love for other Christians is an indication of one's salvation status: 1 John 3:10 - In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. He who practices righteousness and loves his brother does so BECAUSE he is "of God" not to become of God. 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have (past tense) passed from death to life, because we love our brothers (present tense). Loving our brothers is the result of, not the condition of passing from death to life. 1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

I'm curious. You said earlier I may ask you anything.

I mean this to be from a desire for sincere open dialogue.

As a Roman Catholic, what do you hope to achieve by debating Protestants about the particulars of the Gospel?
First Im not an apostle or bishor or apologist

we seek the truth revealed by Christ!

as Jude 1:3 puts it: "contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints"!

Real faith in Christ is proven to not exist in you, if you believe that Jesus does not keep you saved.

Let me show you what it sounds like to be a deceived, = a person who has no real faith in Christ, yet, its likely that you are a Christian.

Here is how broken faith sounds..

"Yes, i KNOW that Jesus saved me.........but now here is what i have to do or NOT DO, if i want to not lose my salvation,.. if i want to keep it".

See that "keeping it
LIST ???.....= they are trying to do that
LIST to stay saved, vs trusting in Christ alone to keep them saved.

Their Faith, is broken.

Believe is to have the kind of faith that loves and obeys.
Never believe the lies out there.
The anointing in you teaches you- listen to Him not man.
You mind if i add just a wee bit to your first sentence .
BELEIVE is to have the kind of faith that loves and obeys , GOD , HIS CHRIST , HIS WORDS , HIS G OSPEL .
how about that . do be encouraged my friend . but we gots to make it real clear .

Its hard to get through to you. Like any typical pharisee, you are stuck pumping your chest. trying to tell the world how great you are and how sinful the rest of us are.

Your statement above reveals just how DECEIVED you are by your listening to and heeding the doctrines of men instead of God's written Word. You call me a blind Pharisee when it is YOU that is following the blind Pharisees OUTSIDE THE WORD OF GOD.

May my Heavenly Father and my Saviour Jesus Christ rebuke you, so that you know to REPENT of your keeping man's agenda.

I get what you’re trying to say, but I want to be careful about how we talk about people. Scripture is clear that God is the one who judges the heart, not us. “For the LORD sees not as man sees… the LORD looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

Yes, Jesus opens the eyes of the blind — but He also warned the Pharisees about claiming they “see” while missing their own blindness (John 9:41). That cuts both ways. It reminds us to stay humble, not to assume we fully understand someone else’s spiritual condition.

My focus is simply to stay in Scripture, point to Christ, and let His words do the work. Faith isn’t something we force or declare over people; it’s something God brings to life in His timing (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

So I appreciate the encouragement to stay in the Word — I am. But I’m also going to keep remembering that God alone knows the heart, and He’s the one who draws people to Jesus.

We are saved by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8,9) hence, faith alone. Then the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5) We love Him because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) Hence, faith works through love. (Galatians 5:6) Not to become saved but because we are saved.
eph 2 was fulfilled past tense 2000 years ago so it cannot mean your personal salvation

and you negate the word mt 10:22 must endure all things till death

So, Ephesians 2:8,9 has nothing to do with personal salvation? Are you really that mixed up?

Enduring to the end is a conditional confirmation that confirms one truly is a child of God. Of course, you misinterpret it to mean "type 2 works salvation" or salvation by works at the back door.

as usual whatever it is it ain't "faith alone"!

thks
Jesus said something's different.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Acts 16:31
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
