Not saying that this is not a bad thing, but some people do become deceived. The only thing for new personally, I tend to believe it was more rampant during the early Ads, and people were claiming to be the messiah as though he came back fooling others, even the elect. But those who knew better kept watching and waiting faithfully for him to come.
