So, i saw "the Passon of the Christ" 3x in the Theaters, over 20 yrs ago.
It was after i saw this movie that i started looking around on Forums, (Christian) and began to discover that they are a confused theological mess, and i decided that when i had free time time set aside for it, i would go to them all and talk about Paul's Doctrine, and Christ's finished work on the Cross.
And you would think that this would be welcomed, 22 ys ago, and you would be utterly wrong if you believe it.
And 22 yrs later, the simple and pure message of God's Grace who is Jesus on The Cross, is still mostly rejected on "christian" forums, unless you add in in some works and legalism and self righteousness and law and commandment keeping.......which of course denies The Cross., and its Eternal Purpose.
The Passon of The Christ, the Movie..... was a unique experience to experience with other Christians, and even tho Mel Gibson exercized some Artistic (Catholic) License when creating it....... its still a very powerful and deeply moving movie-spiritual experience.
A lot of people in this world turned to Jesus after seeing this movie, and a lot of people came back to the Lord after experiencing this movie, so that is the final answer.
We would be hard pressed to find a single event that so focused the entire world on Jesus for a while......as did Mel Gibson's "The Passion".
If you've not seen it, you should, as its not the Religious FARCE that we find with "The Chosen", where a CALVINIST who created this Series, is teaching Hyper Calvinism.
= Yuck., Yuck, Barf.
So, here is what Mel recently said about his Movie(s), and im hoping for the best...... when this movie goes "Live".
