Since I am a student of history what you seem to describe is what happened in Ancient Rome when there was war. The person had total power until it was over, no we do not have that here. Even though they try the Constitution is always the supreme power of our land and the Feds do go after Govs that try to go to far and we sue Govs in court. Here in the US there are no emergency powers were anyone can take total control

I am guessing you are a construction worker, they are allowed to work at 25% I believe and 5 people are allowed on smaller projects like building houses.

I don't work on construction sites these days and i haven't worked since November...

Did u know that Dan Andrews is the only premier to enforce these dictatorial powers since March 13???
And is it justified to be passing all these bills on his own without it going through the senate???

I'm sorry to hear all of this. Yes, it must be like grieving a loved one as , you have much history there. And yes...it's always the poorer parts of towns . As a matter of fact, the area I live in now is being built up for the younger well to do people. There are presently many low income and dis advantage folks in this area and, they call it home as they have been here since kids. It is a very sad thing to live through and we know that "God will make ALL things to the good for those called according to His purpose"

Australia's parliament house has a weird design. Its famous for its lawn

It is known for having grass on the roof and indeed it coped a fair bit of criticism from many people including myself.

But its the symbolism that is important here... The grass symbolizes the citizens of this country.
And it surrounds parliament house as reminder that they are there for the people.
The grass on the roof is a reminder that they are not above the people but in fact the people are above them.
Their job is to serve and protect the people and should never be forgotten...

So, I will only list the most toughest ones and put up a link for anyone who wants to see more...
Department of Health and Human Services Victoria | Stage 4 restrictions.

- Fines of $1,600 for people and $10,000 for businesses that do not comply. And they're being overly enforced
- A curfew from 8pm to 5am. Cannot leave home for any reason between those times
- Cannot travel more than 5kms from your home
- Can only leave home for 1 hour per day for shopping or exercise
- Cannot have visitors or make any visitors to anyone
- Must wear a muzzle when not at home.
- Cannot leave the state or country
- Schools are closed
- No religious services are permitted apart from funeral with a 10 person limit
- Not permitted is fishing, golf, swimming, driving

Some of the restrictions have only been seen here like the curfew and the 5km limit.
Others make no sense at all. A person cannot catch or spread covid while doing things alone.
And why my parents can't go and visit their homeland in Europe is puzzling to say the least

And all these lockdown restrictions are brought in onto his subjects by the supreme leader Dan
All on his own accord, while the other states remain democratic our state is communist and hardly no one knows.

The DLP, right? When u first said that i thought u were getting confused with American politics but its the Democratic Labour Party... U know how laws are made, u understand the democratic system.

I bet 7 months ago u would not have accepted 6 months of tyranny. You wouldn't have accepted this one state going against every other state to bypass the democratic system and pass in new laws unopposed...

This is a battle of dissonance for u...U like Dan... How firmly do u believe in Democracy.
Do you condemn Dan for abusing such powers unnecessarily and stand by your belief. Or does your belief change now (the easy way out) by excusing it or ignoring it?

Secret deals with China

- Daniel Andrews sold his soul to China. Against the advise of the federal government, our state premier signed a deal with China. His turned his back on the citizens of Victoria with this deal that works to strengthen Chinas power, especially over Australia... His move is also against our constitution which says that foreign affairs are the responsibility of the federal government and not the states.

- The deal is a slap in the face for Victorian businesses and workers as it uses their construction companies to come here and build our infrastructure and takes our products over to China to be manufactured...

- The deal was done in secret, behind everyone's back. Dan will not release the details. A party member was asked about the details of this deal and if the billions of dollars borrowed for this pandemic came from China. Not only did she refuse to answer but she said "questions like that overstep the mark of public decency and discussion"

Hotel Quarantine Fiasco

- In March the federal government ordered the states to set up hotel quarantines for people who arrived from overseas as they are ordered to isolate for 14 days. I don't get this, a person tests negative and still has to isolate for 2 weeks. I can't see the logic in that but then again there are many things about this whole covid thing that has no logic.

- After having the toughest lockdowns, Victoria started to get a second wave of infections and so we were dictated to go onto stage 4 lockdowns. It was found that the reason for these new infections was because Dan had hired a private security firm to handle it rather than use the ADF (military) or the cops.

- It is said that the reason that Dan hired this private company was because it's owner was Aboriginal which is just shocking, identity politics was prioritized over Victorian citizens. And indeed i found a job ad for our Safety Department who was willing to pay $250,000 a year for a director of inclusion and intersectionality which is insane at any time but during this so called pandemic is alarming.

- A judicial inquiry was set up in which Daniel Andrews blatantly lied about receiving any offer from the ADF to help. Defence Minister Linda Reynolds, made a public announcement verifying the fact that multiple offers were made to Dan but he rejected them. In late June Andrews said that he had accepted the offer from ADF but on the following day he cancelled it.

- 99% of the covid cases in Victoria can be linked back to the hotel quarantine fiasco. So it was because of Daniel Andrews' dictatorial decisions that this second wave started in Victoria. And he has been trying to keep it all a secret while putting the blame on Victorians instead of taking responsibility.

Aged care debacle

- Daniel Andrews ordered Melbourne hospitals to turn away covid patients that were old and frail. The Department of Human Health Services (DHHS) said it did not have enough hospital beds for “those type of people at this point in time.” And yet our hospitals are empty, cleared out to make room for these very same patients in the first place.

- These covid patients were turned back and sent to aged care home where they were sedated and left to die alone, not allowing family to visit. The reason for sedation was to prevent further covid spread within the facility.

Contact Tracing Failure

- Another failure by Daniel Andrews is with the contact tracing. Every other state had no problem with this job but not Victoria because of the dictatorial powers that Andrews has been using. This is all what happens when there is only one party. There is no one to hold him accountable.

BLM protests

- I will mention the BLM protests because of a few things. First thing is that church has been banned here now for almost 6 months while people are allowed to congregate in other places such as busses and supermarkets. Daniel Andrews removed God and made himself divine with his words infallible. He stopped protests 2 weeks before BLM by getting police to use force and detain them. But when BLM came around he said that they had the right to assemble and demonstrate, giving assurances that no police would be detaining anyone.

- They say that 99% of these covid cases are linked to the hotel quarantine scandal but allowing these BLM protestors to assemble was like a slap in the face for Victorians who had endured lockdown measures unlike anyone else in the country only to see this idiots marching and shouting with their placards. So first week of these lockdowns a group of people assembled to protest it cos its their right as well. However police arrived in full force detaining as many as possible charging some of them for breaking lock down rules while handing out $1,600 fines to others.

Using covid to wield control and power over the people

- One of the first things Daniel Andrews did was give himself a pay rise. So at the start of April, while so many people were loosing their jobs, Dan gave himself and his ministers a pay rise of 11.8%... That is insane given that low income earners only get 1 or 2% increase when they get a rise which is hardly ever. Its the private sector that pays for the public sector but later in July he gave a 3% pay rise to everyone in the public sector.

- The great thing about being a dictator is that you don't have to answer to anyone. Time and time again Dan has refused to answer questions regarding a whole range of subjects. He prefers instead to hide behind a veil of secrecy and keep the citizens of Victoria in the dark.

- Dan lied again when he told everyone that hundreds of people were not self isolating a few weeks ago. It was the excuse he used for all these new cases which became the excuse he used to lock us all down. It was revealed just today that cops only issued 42 fines to people for not self isolating

- Compared to every other state, Victoria had the most draconian measures put in place. While other states opened up schools Victoria kept them closed, while every other state opened up society Victoria kept it closed. He locked down some high rise flats without any notice and forced a testing regime onto them. All in all the people of Victoria have suffered greatly at the hands of this murderous dictator yet he has the audacity to come up every day to scare everyone about covid. He has the audacity to blame all Victorians for these covid deaths and has no humility in admitting fault...

- Since the start of this so called pandemic, Daniel Andrews has neglected all Victorians. Anyone that doesn't have covid has to deal with it themselves now. Domestic violence has gone up. Child abuse has gone up. Suicides have gone up. Mental conditions have gone up. Drug and alcohol use has gone up. Daniel Andrews has murdered many people and destroyed the lives of many more, he has also killed a town that once had a spirit and soul...

- A friend of mine today said that he hopes that Andrews and his family all die. A harsh wish maybe but Andrews really does deserve to be held accountable for all the lives that have been hurt here in Victoria.

I don't trust Daniel Andrews at all. He is one of Satans minions.... I don't believe this virus is anything to be afraid about... I believe this second wave is false... I believe Dan fabricated this second wave in order to continue his dictatorship...
I believe this is all heading towards the mandate of a vaccine and microchip... I believe our state is the first one to fall in the western world and that others are going to follow... I believe this is the collapse of western civilization...

I am sure we have all encountered non believers that are not worth listening to - but on the other hand I am sure we have equally met a lot of Christians that sadly can fall into the category as well - but I think it is perhaps unwise to presume that God cannot use the words of non Christians to speak to his people. If Satan can and does use Christians to do his bidding at times, pretty sure that God can use anyone he chooses to use. I have been corrected very deeply at times by the words of my Non Christian friends and family over the years - brought about real conviction that has brought me to my knees.

We can agree that Dan does not hold good positions on

-euthanasia
