What am I taking out of context.
I have to assume at this point that you're just playing games. I have said several times now that you are misapplying Psalm 90:10 to Matthew 24:34. Psalm 90:10 is not about the duration of a generation. So, there is no relation between those verses whatsoever. You cannot use Psalm 90:10 as evidence that "this generation" in Matthew 24:34 lasts for 80 years. That's total nonsense. Tell me what you don't understand about what I'm saying.
FACT. This generation that sees the fig tree sprout forth will not pass away until all these come to pass.
What does that mean?
That's not what Jesus is saying in Matthew 24:34.
Matthew 24:32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
What Jesus did in verses 32 and 33 is compare how you know summer is near when a fig tree's leaves start coming out to how we know that His return is near when we "see all these things" happening. That's it. He said nothing about the generation seeing the fig tree sprout forth. That's not what "all these things" are that He said they would see that would indicate His coming is near. He's talking about the generation that would see things like an increase in false Christs and false prophets and an increase in apostasy and wickedness and such. When those things are happening then you know His coming is near and I think we are already starting to see those things happen.
