In Revelation 13:11-13, Christ through His servant Apostle John warns us about the coming "another beast" for the very end of this world. The Scripture says that false one will work "... great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men."
Why is that "in the sight of men" important? Why would that be said about that coming "another beast"?
In 2 Thessalonians 2:9, Apostle Paul was pointing to that same "another beast" working those "lying wonders". In Matthew 24:24, Jesus warned us about that same false-Christ working those "great signs and wonders".
Do you think maybe all 3 Scripture descriptions are pointing to the same false one coming to do that working here on earth, "in the sight of men"?
When you consider that working of "great signs, and wonders" that coming false one will do on earth, that puts that "in the sight of men" in a specific category of Message. And what's that, you may ask?
Rev 13:11-14
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
The 2 horns LIKE a lamb idea is a pointer to Jesus Christ, The LAMB of Sacrifice. But it says that false one will speak as a "dragon". Who is the "dragon" per Rev.12:9? That is Satan himself.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Once you put together that "dragon" connection with the working of those miracles on earth, "in the sight of men", what then is that pointing to?
Do you think that is pointing to claimed miracle-working by those like Rodney Howard Browne, and his imparting of the 'laughing-in-the-spirit' phenomena? No, not that one. One already knows there's nothing special about his working "in the sight of men".
In what special... way then, would that "in the sight of men" apply to that Rev.13 miracle working? We obviously know that if any man in the flesh does that, that he will be doing it in plain sight on earth. So that idea can't be why that phrase is given about the Rev.13 miracle working.
What makes it special, is that it is pointing to one that is 'supernatural' doing those miracles, in plain sight, on earth, in OUR dimension. And that kind of working most of us on earth today are simply not prepared for.
That will be Satan himself, on earth, in our dimension, doing that miracle working in our near future, "in the sight of men". That will be how he will deceive the whole world by those miracles.
