There doesn't have to be all the confusion about the identity of the 2nd beast of Revelation 13 and the false prophet which false prophet actually is NOT mentioned in that Bible chapter. Men's traditions like to insert... the false prophet idea into that Revelation 13 chapter.

Thus the doctrines of men status quo teaching today is that the Antichrist is separate from the false prophet, like the false prophet introduces the coming Antichrist. But that idea is not actually written in Revelation.

Read carefully...

Rev 13:11-15
11 And I beheld
another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

This "another beast" is a 2nd beast of Revelation 13. The 1st beast of Rev.13:1 is about a world beast kingdom that will have ten horns (ten kings), seven heads (seven mountains), and ten crowns. And that 1st beast comes up out of the sea, which Rev.17:15 defines those waters to mean nations and peoples. So that is pointing to a world system over all nations on earth.

But this "another beast", a 2nd beast, is about a person, and he comes up out of the earth. This "another beast" is to have 2 horns LIKE a lamb. Who is The Lamb slain? Lord Jesus Christ. This is pointing to the coming false-Christ that Lord Jesus warned us about in Matthew 24:23-26 that comes first, and He warned us to not believe on that false Christ.

Then we are told that one will speak "as a dragon". Well just who were we told back in Rev.12:9 is the "dragon"? That is another title for Satan himself. With understanding that point, now it should be easy to understand why this "another beast" will come up out of the earth. It is pointing to Satan as the beast that is to ascend out of the bottomless pit and kill God's two witnesses in Jerusalem for the end (Rev.11). It is Satan that is the angel of the bottomless pit per Rev.9, and also called a "king" there. Revelation 17:8 also is pointing to Satan ascending out of the bottomless pit and going into perdition. And we 'know', for certain today, that so far, ONLY Satan and his angels are already judged and sentenced to perdition in the future "lake of fire", so that's another way to identify this "another beast" here, the false-Christ king or Antichrist to come at the end of this world.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Back at Rev.13:4, it says the whole world will worship the "dragon", and the beast. Only Christ's elect will not. That "dragon" (Satan), as the coming Antichrist, or "another beast", will heal the "deadly wound" that was upon one of the seven heads (mountains per Rev.17). I am going to say that points to Satan's old beast kingdom of Rev.12:3-4 back in the 1st world earth age being healed at the end of this 2nd world earth age, just prior to Lord Jesus' future return.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

That working of "great wonders" and "miracles" is the same warning Lord Jesus gave us as one of His SIGNS of the end per Matthew 24:23-26. Jesus said that coming false Christ will work "great signs and wonders" that IF it were possible, would deceive even His very elect. Men's traditions instead like to interpret that KJV "false Christs" phrase to be plural, about many antichrists. But it is actually in the singular tense about this false Christ "another beast" that comes first working supernatural miracles in the sight of men here on earth. If you can receive it, it is about Satan himself coming to our earthly dimension with the image man playing The Christ.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
KJV

Now then, with those Revelation 13 verses, did you read anywhere there about a 'false prophet'?? No, you did not. So where do men's doctrines get that idea from? Stay with me...

Rev 16:12-14
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of
the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
KJV

That Revelation 16:13 verse is where men's doctrines pull from about a "false prophet" with trying to ADD... it to the Revelation 13 "another beast" Scripture. The reality though is that "false prophet" idea is NOT mentioned in the Rev.13 Scripture. Three objects are shown there: a beast, the dragon, and the false prophet.

Then there is this...

Rev 19:20
20 And
the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
KJV

Notice per the above Rev.19:20 verse, the "dragon" (Satan) is not included at that time of Christ's coming with their being cast into the "lake of fire". Satan will go into the "lake of fire" after Christ's future "thousand years" reign as written in Rev.20. But not at this point here in Rev.19:20 with the beast and false prophet.

So what gives? How can that "beast" and "false prophet" perish into the "lake of fire" on the day of Christ's coming, PRIOR to God's Great White Throne Judgment after Christ's "thousand years" reign?

Did you know that ONLY Satan and his angels that rebelled have already been judged and sentenced to perish in the future "lake of fire", and that no flesh born man has been judged to perish yet today?

Lot of today's preachers try to act like Judas Iscariot is already judged to perish, simply because Lord Jesus used the "son of perdition" label for him, even though that label actually belongs to Satan, since he is already sentenced to perdition. When God's GWT Judgment happens, that is when men in the flesh will be judged to perish, and not before that.

Why then, does this "beast" and "false prophet" perish in the "lake of fire" when Jesus comes per that Revelation 19 Chapter?

There can be only ONE answer to that. That "beast" and "false prophet" of Rev.19:20 is pointing to ROLES that the "dragon" (Satan) will play on earth for the end of this world. The beast and false prophet are only character roles by Satan, and not actual men. The Revelation 13:11-14 verses tell us that "another beast", or "dragon" (Satan), is who works those "miracles" of Rev.13:14 and Rev.16:13-14. And since no flesh born man is judged and sentenced to perish in the "lake of fire" until after Christ's future 1,000 years reign, that means this beast and false prophet cannot be about men.

That also is why... the "dragon" is not mentioned there in Rev.19:20 with perishing in that "lake of fire" along with that "beast" and "false prophet". Those two roles will be destroyed on the day of Christ's future coming. But not the "dragon" (Satan), not yet.

Ah Davy, I think that you shot yourself in the foot in your post above.

The description of the Rev 13:13 beast matches the Little Horn of Daniel 7 & 8.

The four beasts of Daniel 7:1-12 and the Little Horn also referenced in Daniel 8 are wicked fallen heavenly hosts who when they are judged at the time of the Armageddon judgement of the kings of the earth also go into the Bottomless pit with the judged kings of the earth.

It is my view that you need to spend more time meditating on the scriptures instead of trying to show yourself as a biblical expert.

Your very timeline in your post above shows that you are missing some important clues with respect to the beasts of Daniel 7:19-27, which corresponds to the singular four faceted beast with all of the characteristics of the four beasts in Daniel 7:1-12 and Rev 13.

You are definitely speaking too... soon.

The "little horn" prophecy of Daniel 7:8 parallels the "beast" (king) of Revelation 17...

Rev 17:12-14
12 And the
ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto
the beast.

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
KJV

That "little horn" prophecy of Daniel 7 is concerning the very end of days, which is about the above ten horns (ten kings) that receive their power "one hour" with that "beast" ("little horn"/The Antichrist). That "beast" there is about the "another beast" of Rev.13:11-14 that works the great signs and wonders to deceive the whole world, and links to the world worshiping the "dragon" per the Rev.13:4-8 Scripture.

We know that "little horn" represents the beast king for the end of this world, an 11th king, that comes up among those ten horns, because of this...

Dan 7:8-12
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another
little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

9
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11
I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
KJV

Verses 9-12 above is pointing Christ's coming to end the reign of that "little horn" at the end of this world. Therefore, we cannot try to shove any... of the previous beast kings of history into that final "little horn" prophecy there in Rev.13 &17, which is about the final Antichrist at the end of this world when Jesus Christ comes to defeat him.

Verse 12 above is even pointing to the kings of the earth that are cast into Satan's future pit prison with him, and after many days ("thousand years" of Rev.20), will be visited (Isaiah 24:22). That only happens after Christ's future return to end the reign of the "another beast" and his ten horn, seven head, ten crowns beast kingdom over all nations.

Your Daniel 7 reference is wrong IMHO. The reference should have been Daniel 7:15-27 to be in the same timeframe as is spoken about in ev 17.

Need I have to provide more to show your error in your understadning?

GODS ELECT, ZADOK.
The member who posted the thread is correct on most of this. I'm trying to edifying the body of christ.
Revelation chapter 16;12 to 16:14 . This is armeggeden. Satan as antichrist gathers armys in the valley of Elah.
Satan is attempting to try to break God's spirit. This happens at the end of the 6th trump.
Satan isn't stupid enough to go one on one with Jesus.
Satan as antichrist is employing psychological warfare. Get the picture.
I studied under pastor Arnold murray and dennis for 23 years.
I'm trained and gifted teacher. The credit goes to Jesus.
I'm being gentle, and making slight correction.
Jesus will back me up.
Jesus is King of the Election.
