"…if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins" (Hebrews 10:26)

In other words; don’t come back running to me again after I saved you once already!

Depart from me, ye who work iniquity!

"I WILL profess unto them… depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23)

I do not finding it amusing that so many Christians have such a hard time understanding the concept of good.
They either do not understand....believe no Christian is good....or give up entirely and believe they can sin on
It is very sad for you....how long have you been studying the Bible and still do not have a clue?

We are not Jews...the 613 Mosaic Laws on one hand are inferiors to Christ's teachings and on the other it was the Mosaic Law that stated if you break one you break them all....not Christ's teachings. Christ freed us from the Mosaic Law. If you look to the Law for justification you are severed from Christ and have fallen from Grace...If you have a love for the Mosaic Law, it is best that you just to convert to Judaism. You cannot be in two covenants at once. Christ warned of this when He said that you do not put new wine in old wine skins because the skins will burst and ruin both...same thing about the new patch on old cloth.
Again, is their standard higher than yours

answer the question please

I know what the scripture teaches. One needs no “clues” unless they seek to distort it’s teachings.

There is a difference in memorizing the scriptures and understanding the scriptures.
One the most important things is not keying on favorite scriptures and not taking the rest of the New Testament into account.
You cannot be perfect and you cannot live a life of sin....what is the alternative....Be Good.

"Be perfect… and the God of love and peace shall be with you." (2 Corinthians 13:11)

And you accuse me of not “understanding” the scriptures?
It funny that you think I do not take that scripture in account. Again Knowing some scriptures does not mean you understand the Bible. Before I start spoon feeding you scriptures....do you think you can be perfect? Do you think that Christ thinks we can be perfect? Do you think we can sin all we want and He makes us perfect? Do you think we can even comprehend perfect?
You can make some guesses because you obviously do not know.

Again, why do Christians have such a hard time with the concept of good. Follow the example of Christ, is that so hard.

do you think you can be perfect?

I know I can, the Bible tells me so.

Do you think that Christ thinks we can be perfect?

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

Are these spoonful of scripture too much for you?

I believe I can do what the word of God says I can do.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (John 14:12)

No you cannot comprehend perfect because it would take total awareness...that is a God thing.

1st John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Do you have any truth?

Do you have any truth?

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:8-9)

Yes, I have the Holy Bible and it’s truth is in me because I have confessed my sins and am born again and can now understand this profound truth:

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin" (1 John 3:9)

The great stumbling block verse of the natural man.

So do you really think you can be perfect? One of questions I have already asked.
There is no surprise why there are so many denominations....because people like you start denominations....
But again do you think you can be perfect? Do you think your salvation depends on you being perfect?
I feel silly for having to talk to somebody about this....I am dealing with two extremes here....those that lie to themselves and God saying they are perfect and on the other hand those that think they can sin all they want and go to heaven...both are lies.

One is true, and one is a lie.

This “middle” ground you speak of is described here:

"…thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16)

LOL That is not what I am talking about.
Again do you think you are perfect? Do you think it is possible for anybody? Do you think Christ thinks we can be perfect.
Answer the questions because that is all your going to get from here on out.

And Judaism’s standard was perfection

so if perfection was their standard and Jesus is higher. Well, yeah. I have no hope

that’s why I need grace
Oh you are so wrong about Judaism. That is laughable! Plan on selling your daughter as a sex slave anytime soon? You better know Judaism before you talk to me about Judaism. I grew up with Jews, studied Judaism at Jewish Studies at American University in Washington DC and Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Christ set a new standard for morals well above the Mosaic Law, but He still does not expect perfection.

Tong2020 said:
Who says there will be Christians in hell?

Do you really believe that there will be some of those created in Christ in hell?
They're called EX-believers.
That’s what you say. And please listen to what you say in effect, that is:

Some of those whom God created in Christ Jesus (think about what this means) will go to hell.

Seems like we don’t have the same take about what to be created in Christ Jesus means. Well, that sure put a lot of difference between us. Which explains a lot of our disagreement about the salvation of God of His children.

Do you think you are perfect?

I know I am.

"For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." (Hebrews 10:14)

So I must not ruined the perfection Christ’s atonement has given me by returning willfully to sin: because:

"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" (Hebrews 10:29)
