While you may have good intentions with this OP, you will need to take another look at the passage you have quoted:We cannot fulfill the lusts of the flesh and deceive ourselves in to believing that we will inherit God's Kingdom too.
1. No one *inherits* the Kingdom of God. Sinners enter into the Kingdom of God through the New Birth (John 1:12,13; 3:3-5), and the gift of the Holy Spirit is purely by God's grace to the one who repents and believers on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
2. The New Birth had made these Christians new creatures (the *new man*) in Christ: And have put on the new man [PAST TENSE], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
3. Because they were new creatures in Christ they would have no desire to fulfil the lusts of the flesh: In the which ye also walked some time [PAST TENSE], when ye lived in them.
