EXACTLY CORRECT. They don't have to take your Freedoms, -- you give them up WILLINGLY. But as I've asserted to others from the Garden of Eden, MEN and NOT under other men, -- they receive directly from GOD. But women ARE RELEGATED to being under men, and so you wilingly submit.

Two different perspectives, with two different results ...

You know when Adam accepted the fruit from Eve, he placed himself under her. He submitted himself to a woman.
Now go to revelation and look who rides the beast.
Look in Ephesus and see who their God-dess is.
    Moon worship... Amazon chicks.
    This is a woman's world.
We let men wear the pants.. mm hmm

That's not how I feel, that's how the world is.
That's why it won't submit to God.
Too busy trying to break that glass ceiling and become God themselves.

I'm a woman by the way.. and women know these things..
    just saying..
    Hugs

Yeah, I think I told you regarding my wife's council, saying: How Precious Life Is, and that Jesus Could Come For Me At Any Minute; and then closes with: If You Don't Knock It Off!

The fact is I really don't CARE what others say or think. I live a quiet and peaceful life.

This is a good reminder of why I do not do well in public forums... People can't seem to let others have their own opinions without
pushing forth their own opinions as right and/or superior.
Think it's time to go back into my quiet little hole... LOL Maybe I will be ready to fit in by Spring.

Thus my "caution", because many people don't know where we are in World History, --where satan is seeking to destroy mankind as we speak, and Jesus stands at the door ready to Return.

So are you "prepared" for when we can't "buy or sell"? Are you prepared for when the church is exhorted to "endure"? -- If not, retreating into "a quiet place" may cost you your well being.

And GOD doesn't want you to discover too late. Hosea 4:6

For the sake of finishing this conversation I never asked for.... The only electronic gadget I own is a Chrome book... and a cassette/radio machine.
I do not have a phone... I do not have a television... I do not follow the media... I use my tablet for communicating via email with my daughter who lives in a different city than me... as well as a few friends. Every few months... I get the urge to TRY and become part of a forum fellowship... and I don't last too long before desiring to retreat back into my quiet place. It's all noise to me... everyone screaming and shouting about this and that. There does not seem to be such a thing as civilized discussion anymore.... everyone needs to be right and superior with their opinions... which is fine.. but I am honestly and simply not INTERESTED in this type of communication.

I have never had a credit card... and I don't owe a cent to anyone... no debt whatsoever... I pay cash.... and yes I see the time coming where cash will be no more.... Am I ready??? ABSOLUTELY.... there is nothing on this wretched earth that I desire. I am ready to go home... everyday I desire to go home to heaven. If ever I am asked to choose between Christ and the world... I am with CHRIST. So.... I hope this quenches your concern as to my supposed "lack of awareness and/or knowledge" of what is going on in the world.

Sometimes I just find a thread that's quiet. A couple around here just post music. It puts you in a gentler mood.
I'm almost living like you. In the woods, no neighbors, no company, family is cities away.
No cell phone, I have to have a landline to call my dad everynight or he gets umm grumpy.
I got an old dodge that limps down the road but it's paid for. no credit cards, live off SS and Snap.
But hey, I don't need much, I don't ask for much. Just some peace and quiet.
I got hooked into watching peaceful protest riots for 120 plus days non stop live feeds. Got really depressed.
God sent me here and I been feeling peaceful ever since.
What do you like to talk about?
We can start a thread somewhere and just take life easy..
    Don't leave..
    Hugs

    Matthew 23:23
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.

As followers of Christ, we learn to give greater weight to issues such as justice and mercy and faithfulness than rules enforced by bureaucrats. Canadians are suffering the tyranny of bureaucrats, who place equal weight on the rules as they do on morality, perhaps more. You have been living under this tyranny for so long, you have become used to it. What you fail to realize is that such evil men have preyed on your sense of care and concern for others. You are more than willing to give up your fellowship with other believers, suffering for "the greater good" because they have convinced you that disobedience can lead to the death of thousands.

As Christians, we are constantly being tested to see what we actually value. What do we really want? What do we really believe? Whom do you fear?

Whom do you fear? Do you fear man or God? Do you obey bureaucrats rather than God? I can't believe you do, but you act like you do. Whom do you fear more? A virus or God? Think about this long and hard. Trust God; follow the lead of the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps you haven't given much thought to the issue of "rights"; I doubt most Americans have either. What do we mean by "rights"? Our system of government recognizes a distinction between "rights" and "powers" and the essential distinction centers on our obligation to serve God. The people have granted the state the power to secure our life, liberty and happiness and whenever they fail we have the right to change our government. If it becomes a question of whether we should obey the government or God, we obey God because he is the creator and source of all life. He stands above the government. We have the right to freedom of conscience, which our government is obligated to protect: free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, freedom of the press. Without these, we are unable to serve God.

When the government tells you to stay at home, they are violating your freedom of assembly, which keeps you from serving God. We are obligated to witness, evangelize, teach, preach, and council each other. To serve the cause of freedom is to serve God. The government must serve us to protect our ability to serve God. To the degree that the government restricts our freedom to serve God, that government is evil and must be disobeyed.

    Whom do you serve?

WOW.... This is not worthy of an answer... but it does prove my point regarding civilized communication being hard to come by.

For what it's worth... this thread started out as a Canadian making a comment and myself ( another Canadian ) making a statement
of how the protocols for covid-19 are in Ontario ( my province )... I made the simple comment that I do not have a problem following the government mandates presented in my community. NO big deal... my choice... my little opinion...

This thread has blown up into comments filled with correction and judgement when none was necessary... Someone made the comment that these mandates are equivalent to persecution... REALLY ?? That to me is an insult to those who are truly being tortured and murdered for their faith in Christ. We are presently being inconvenienced... and we are doing the best we can to get through a difficult time.

I absolutely understand that these are strange and stressful times for many.... and the election in the United States has added even more stress.... but that does NOT excuse fellow believers chastising and judging and "correcting" each other for not believing or feeling as they do.

WE are called to have kindness and grace for one another. Respect for one another... and to live in PEACE as much as is possible.

I really don't have a problem with people following whatever they FEEL is best for them. But I do have a problem with people who THINK their thoughts and beliefs are superior to mine.

For all who think they need to have the last word or feel the need to "correct" your fellow believers to EDUCATE them... perhaps take a moment to understand that your shoulder might be more valuable than your opinion.

Honestly... I don't even think I lasted a week... LOL @Josho ... Maybe I'll see you in the Spring... LOL

Jer 12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

Maybe we're just concerned about you. And we don't want to see you get run over by politics.

Yes, we are concerned about you. I can't believe that you think these protocols are "no big deal". According to MY little opinion, government coercion intended to keep Christians from meeting together is a really BIG deal, and needs to stop RIGHT NOW. Why do you not understand this? I don't get it.

I kind of doubt all these figures on the news at night claiming how many new cases in the last 24 hours.
They add them all up also with the numbers since spring.
But most of these people are free from covid and survived.
Why keep adding the cases to the totals??
I am not saying Covid is a farce but I believe its all blown out of proportion, just like everything else such as global warming...

It's my believe churches should be meeting on sundays.
Keep distance and stick to 50 people.
Have several services if there are more people in the church.

After all.... big box stores are crowded and schools are open.
Children in schools could pick up the virus but don't show it, yet could pass it on to parents at home.
Seems to me there different rules for different institution.
    Go figure that one out.

    Dearest C&Z,

I hope you'll forebear someone whose circumstances might not be flexible enough to cope with social and political upheaval. Perhaps each and every day is a struggle in and of itself, and to add more only makes things worse for them.

    With VERY Best Regards,
    Bobby Jo :)
