Breaking all the dishes sounds like a better alternative to washing them.

I remember my art teacher had us break plates for some kind of project, IDK mosaic or something, and I joked that the project would be great for stress relief. She didn't find it funny. Just kind of stared with a raised brow. Learned not to make jokes like that at celtic Catholic school again. Not the funniest people on the planet.
That's true! My mom is super sketched about that stuff. Took her forever to get ANY kind of phone. (Plus she was worried about covid tracking on smartphones.) I bought her a flip phone. Now she doesn't have a choice. Lol
When I was a kid, we had to go outside to use the microwave, too.
I was never Catholic but I was raised nondenominational, and parents would never have been able to put me in a Seventh Day Adventist high school. Way too fancy and expensive. Absolutely refused to let me go to public school so Celtic Catholic school was the only option.
Goodness, I would've laughed at it! LOL
I didn't know you attended a catholic school. Were you raised catholic?
Very interesting! I really dislike microwaves. I try to leave mine unplugged unless it's being used and I almost never use it. If I do, I don't stand in the same room with it.
I get impatient with the countdown ... You ever wake up in the middle of the night tired and groggy, glance over at the microwave for the time, and say to yourself, "ah man it's already 0:53 o'clock!?"some mosaics are pretty
i am guilty of watching the microwave count down. its very ...um...trancing :/
You should never have mentioned cereal...lol...it seems to have taken over the thread...sorry:)Five years sober - no alcohol. I guess I was triggered in a bad untampered usually kept safe place cause I keep wanting a bottle of wine and I've been holding back tears for a while and trying to hide it, but they keep flowing anyway so i turned the lights off so nobody would notice.
I just felt like if I told someone it would help.
I'm not going to do anything. The thought just keeps coming up. I had two bowls of cereal instead. I might have a third. I might have four. I should have the whole box. Throw the whole thing in there. I'm mad at myself for not getting the kind with marshmallows.
something like that or i look at my phone. the creepiest is waking up at 3 or 4 :/I get impatient with the countdown ... You ever wake up in the middle of the night tired and groggy, glance over at the microwave for the time, and say to yourself, "ah man it's already 0:53 o'clock!?"
