Jesus Christ is God...not the little g God you make Jesus out to be.
Phil 2:7ish tells us Jesus was God and equal to God.
Jesus became a man...a servant...and in Jesus' incarnate role as a servant presented God the Father (the first of the trinity) as His God.

Jesus wasn't a created being.
The verse you presented is a poor translation:

Here is a proper translation:

Phi 2:7 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Jesus is mankind's God, but even so, being equal with God was not a thing to be grasped.

Yes, Jesus who was in the form of God didn't grasp onto His divinity...and not became a servant.
Are you saying Jesus didn't become a servant?
The Word who was God became flesh.

Jesus is mankind's God who became flesh, a servant. That does not make Him equal in authority with the Father. You are assuming things that the verse does not say.

Equal means equal. Jesus was in the form of God....

In fact Jesus was the creator of Heaven and earth. Jesus was the God mentioned in Gen 1.
The "US" in Gen 1 was the trinity. Let US make man in OUR image.

All things were created by Christ so that makes Him the Creator of heaven and earth. And yes, Jesus and His Father are the ones who are making mankind in their image. How does that make them a trinity? Where is the Holy Spirit in all this? You have a preconceived belief that you are adding to scripture where it is silent.

If the trinity was true, why does Paul not teach it? Or Peter? or John? Or James?

There are only two verses of scripture that imply a trinity and both are false scriptures which were added centuries ago by apostate leaders to give support to their false doctrine of the trinity. You are being deceived.

Matthew 28:19 Jesus states: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Dear Peter1,
So what what did the Apostles go and do? They went and baptized in the name of Jesus.

Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 8:16 for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.

Acts 19:15 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

There is not one supporting scripture for baptism to be done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In fact, what name would it be that represents all three? Neither the Father or the Holy Spirit are ever referred to as Jesus.

The verse you quoted is corrupted. It most likely originally said "baptizing them in my name". I believe it was changed centuries ago to give support to the false doctrine of the trinity.

Who's words carry more weight Jesus or the apostles - Jesus words are the word of God and can't be overlooked.

I could say the same about Acts that they were corrupted long ago you have to show proof you can't just come up with that and expect everyone to believe you..

When translated

Greek Breakdown:
  • poreuthentes oun ("Go therefore")
  • mathēteusate panta ta ethnē ("make disciples of all nations")
  • baptizontes autous ("baptizing them")
  • eis to onoma tou patros kai tou huiou kai "tou hagiou pneumatos" ("into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit")

Sorry to hear you reject Jesus and what He says in matt mark luke and John... you harrass people. What kind of christian are you? You repeatedly say the same thing about paul now more than 20 times... you seem to think that only pauls words save you and thats not true, paul preaches Jesus Christ crucified and we learn who Christ is from Christ own words in matt mark luke and John... as Ive said before ALL THE GOSPELS WORKS TOGETHER FOR THE BELIEVERS SALVATION NOT JUST WHAT PAUL SAID!!

A MOD ON THIS SITE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR REPEATED HARRASSMENT....

STOP BEING A PUNK AS YOUR TREAT BELIEVERS WORST THAN WERE SUPPOSE TO TREAT OUR ENEMYS.....

IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THAT ONLY PAULS WORDS CAN SAVE YOU THEN YOUVE SAID IT OVER 20 TIMES MAYBE 30... ENOUGH IS WAY PAST DO... THIS IS NOT WHAT A CHRISTIAN DOES....

BEFORE YOU CAN LISTEN TO PAUL TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU MUST KNOW WHO AND WHAT IT IS YOU ARE BELIEVING IN AND THATS JESUS AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO KNOW WHO JESUS IS THAN READING HIS OWN WORDS.....

YOU ACT LIKE A HEATHEN
A simple reminder for us all , all the apostels to later include paul himself
THEY ALL taught the one same identical gospel to both jews and gentiles .
And all of those le tters do not contradict at all . And its all good meat for the sheep .

Dear Peter1,
Mat 28:19 is a corrupted text and those are not the words of Christ. If they were His words, the Apostles would not have baptized in the way they did. Also, where is a second witness of scripture? The law requires two or three witnesses to prove any truth. Mat 28:19 does not have a second witness. That is another red flag.

Hello my friend .
I dont know why we are comparing such words . ALL of them are TRUTH .
YES .
There is no two gospels .
There is one gospel . It began with JESUS
then the twelve began to preach it . Then paul was also converted and he began to preach it .
In fact , ALL t hings JESUS taught are MEAT for the sheep . Paul knew it . peter knew it , they all knew it .
Its men that confuse it all up .
Its real simple my friend .
IF is written in that bible . BELEIVE IT . pretty simple indeed . and james and paul were not at odds at all .
BOTH KNEW one had to BELIEVE ON JESUS to be saved .
And yes EVEN paul knew that faith without works is dead .
If any provides not for his own , specially for those of his own household , he has DENIED THE FAITH
and is worse than an infidel . EVERYTHING written and left for us in the bible , IT IS Truth and for us to observe .
GO ye into all the world , preaching the glorious gospel and teaching them to Observe , ALL THINGS i have taught you .
JESUS words APPLY every bit as much FOR US as they did in the beginning . Now to the trenches one
and all . s
