That's just what you think.
No, that is what scripture teaches.

Fire is a spirit word (John 6:63) that carries a meaning that is different than what man's wisdom teaches (1Cor 2:13). To understand the meaning of spirit words, we are to compare "spiritual with spiritual". Then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the meaning of the spirit word can be discerned.

I recommend that you do a word search for "fire" in an online bible. Then substitute the word "fire" with "judgment" and see if that makes sense to you.

Thumbs down for the post saying "God holding mankind accountable for their sins since He is the one who causes mankind to sin in the first place"

Do people really believe we can sow to the flesh and not reap corruption? Apparently many do in the days of the rise of the religious left who believe people can be gay and transgender and still be Christians.
I have to admit i felt a whole heap of righteous anger
when i seen that statement even to dare to imply God causes man to sin .
These people follow men and not GOD .
just open the bible . GOD told man NOT TO EAT OF THE TREE
and the serpent said , OH its okay . IT was the serpent that was co helper to the fall of man .
But man was not without fault .
Though he and the woman were fast to blame , rather than admit their own faults .
God dont cause one to sin , THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN HIM and HE in no way is contrary to himself , thus to the TRUTH .
Now he allows it . But he is not the cause . the one who sins has none to blame but themselves .
If our own children came to us and said but hey my friends told me to do this
You telling me that was our fault or that we caused them to sin .
NO SIR .
The fault of the sinner , the one who sins , can be seen real clearly .
In fact i give us all this challenge today .
IF any has sinned
go into your bathroom and kneel . Then pray and ask GOD himself
LORD who caused me TO SIN
And then rise up and open your eyes and look right into that mirror , I AM DARN CERTAIN ye shall have your answer
ITS THE FIRST image in the mirror that you see . The dev il himself cannot MAKE one sin
THEY have to choose to do so . The devil tempted the woman , SHE FAILED
and the man put the woman first before GOD and ate from her hand , HE failed .
And yet IT would have to take GOD himself to restore man .
ITs why no angel was sent and became flesh
IT was why THE WORD OF GOD became FLESH . HE was tempted IN ALL POINTS , while in the same flesh we all have .
HE prevailed .

John says we can not do this

1 John 3:
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

I am amazed at people who do not understand the change God instills in his children.. I can only fathom it comes from a legalistic mindset that you have to perform to be saved. and not a grace perspective that God changes you from the inside
Slow down and comprehend what was said. I was talking about those who repeatedly willfully sinning as those who have no relationship with Jesus.....

You then highlight this verse:
(Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him)

I believe people who are saved sin now and then but by your highlighting this verse you must be completely sin free:

(Whoever has been born of God does not sin)
so you have never sinned since you first believed.... pretty amazing

I was hoping you could have done better. For example here you assume..speculate...God wanted Adam and Eve to have the knowledge of Good and Evil and by His direction had them eat from the tree. Seriously?

Here you misapplied the verse...

The words "and created evil"...are a bad translation and don't fit with the poetic parallelism used in the bible. A better word is calamity.

Do you follow any denomination in particular that teaches what you wrote or did you pretty much derive it on your own?
Dear CrowCross,
You said:

Nothing happens in God's creation that He doesn't cause to happen. If you don't have that foundation of truth, then you must believe that God's creation is outside of His control and that man's free will ability is causing Him trouble in accomplishing the word that goes out from His mouth.

You said:

The Hebrew word for evil is "ra". It doesn't mean calamity as you contend.

You asked:

Since the death of Paul, the churches quickly became apostate (Acts 20:29-31). Nothing has changed in that regard even up to today. I came out of the apostate church many years ago after I was converted. I was 44 years old at that time. My conversion testimony is presented on my website (shown under my member name).

During my conversion, the scales fell from my eyes. This healing of my spiritual blindnes gave me to ability to learn the truth of Christ's New Covenant teaching directly by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I know other converted believers who have been given the same knowledge of the truth as I was given. However, you will not find the truth that I have been shown in any church, group, sect or denomination of Christianity because those churches are under the full control of Satan via the spirit of anti-Christ. The churches of the world are truly apostate and are places where the blind lead the blind.

Who teaches you the gospel ?
Sorry to hear you reject Jesus and what He says in matt mark luke and John... you harrass people. What kind of christian are you? You repeatedly say the same thing about paul now more than 20 times... you seem to think that only pauls words save you and thats not true, paul preaches Jesus Christ crucified and we learn who Christ is from Christ own words in matt mark luke and John... as Ive said before ALL THE GOSPELS WORKS TOGETHER FOR THE BELIEVERS SALVATION NOT JUST WHAT PAUL SAID!!

A MOD ON THIS SITE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR REPEATED HARRASSMENT....

STOP BEING A PUNK AS YOUR TREAT BELIEVERS WORST THAN WERE SUPPOSE TO TREAT OUR ENEMYS.....

IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THAT ONLY PAULS WORDS CAN SAVE YOU THEN YOUVE SAID IT OVER 20 TIMES MAYBE 30... ENOUGH IS WAY PAST DO... THIS IS NOT WHAT A CHRISTIAN DOES....

BEFORE YOU CAN LISTEN TO PAUL TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU MUST KNOW WHO AND WHAT IT IS YOU ARE BELIEVING IN AND THATS JESUS AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO KNOW WHO JESUS IS THAN READING HIS OWN WORDS.....

Dear CrowCross,
What I have said is Jesus Christ is mankind's God, Lord, Father, Savior and Creator. But scripture also says that God the Father is the God of Christ and that God the Father is greater than Christ.

Have you ever really read what the verses below teach?

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

1Cor 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

2Cor 11:31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

2Thes 1:2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Clearly, from these verses I have quoted above, the Trinity Doctrine has some obvious contradictions with scripture.

The verses above teach that Jesus is the Son of the Father, that the Father is greater than Jesus and that the Father is the GOD of Jesus.

Looking closely at 1Cor 8:6 above, it says that there is only "one God, the Father, of whom are all things.” If all things come from the Father, then God the Father has to be the one supreme God. God does not consist of three persons as the Trinity Doctrine states.

Look at these two verses below:

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Since the First Fruits of Jesus’ harvest of mankind will someday be "one" as Jesus and His Father are "one", how can there be a "trinity"?

If we are to understand that Jesus and the Father are the one supreme God, doesn't that also make the First Fruits the same one supreme God?

If that were true, God would then be much, much more than a trinity. But, of course, that understanding is not correct.

What makes Jesus and His Father “one”?

Jesus and His Father are made “one” because the Father gave Jesus the full measure of His Spirit.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him.

For that reason alone, Jesus is said to be "one" with His Father.

And in like manner, after Christ has given the Father’s Spirit in full measure to mankind, we too, will be “one” with the Father. When that day arrives, Christ's reign will come to an end because His work will be finished and the Father will have many new sons:

1John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

So who exactly is Jesus?

Scripture says that Jesus is the Son of God:

John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

However, Jesus is much more than just the Son of God to mankind.

Scripture tells us that the Father, of whom are all things, created all things within this creation "by" Jesus. That makes Jesus mankind's Father, God, Lord, Creator and Savior.

In other words, Jesus is everything to mankind.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Clearly, Jesus is not the one supreme God of whom are all things. Jesus is the Son of the one supreme God (the Father) and is of lesser authority. There simply is no trinity. There is only one supreme God (the Father) who has a very big family.

Dear Taken,
I just made a post to Pinseeker (#406) which addresses the comment you made above. It is a false belief that mankind can refuse salvation. Salvation is not an offer, it is a free gift that is given without mankind's permission.
Joe
through Faith

Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,

Grace is the source, and faith is the means by which we obtain the grace of God. It is through our faith that we believe. In other words, our faith in God takes us to His unmerited favor—His grace.

Dear Sel@h,
Yes, our salvation comes from having faith in Christ, and to make sure we have faith, Christ will give it to us.

Look at the verse you quoted:

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that (your faith) not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

And this verse:

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you (babes who have the Early Rain), not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (via the Early Rain).

Paul is telling these babes to not think of themselves too highly because even their faith was a gift from God. In other words, Paul is telling them that they have nothing to boast about concerning their faith in Christ because it was a free gift. They did nothing to deserve it.

Mankind in their natural created state of being cannot understand God or have a desire to seek after Him.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

1Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

In that state, a person cannot develop faith from within themselves. Their faith can only come from the Holy Spirit that Christ will give to them - and He does so without a person's permission or asking for it. Mankind is truly at the mercy of Christ to save them. Because they are, Christ will do 100% of the spiritual work that is necessary for a person to have faith, submit to His authority, to love God and to love their neighbor. Christ makes all that happen and He does so freely but only at a time of His choosing.

Thanks for the explanation. So would you say that those who do not come to the Lord to be saved are willfully rejecting the gift of faith?

Dear Sel@h,
Mankind cannot have faith in their natural state. They must wait for Christ to come to them and give the Early Rain to them. With the Early Rain (a small measure of the Holy Spirit), and after they hear the Word, they will 100% of the time develop faith in Christ. As the verse below says, they can no longer call Jesus accursed.

1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

In this age, Christ is not giving the Early Rain to most people. They will remain unbelievers until they die. However, Christ does give the Early Rain to "many" people. Then from that group of many, a few have been chosen to have their salvation completed before they die. They are the elect and the only ones who will be saved in this age.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

For the babes (Early Rain only) who were not converted and for the unbelievers, they will be resurrected to judgment (symbolized by the Lake of Fire) at the end of this age. But because Christ came to save the world (1John 4:14), He will not forget the balance of unsaved mankind. In the final age, Christ will include MERCY, FAITH, AND JUSTICE during His judgment of the lost (Mat 23:23). His mercy will birth a new child of God. This will leave the child of the Devil (who they used to be) in the Lake of Fire to perish. This death will satisfy justice. Christ accomplishes their salvation by the spiritual process of conversion.

After the last person of mankind has been converted, the verses below will be testified to be true:

1Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus Christ is God...not the little g God you make Jesus out to be.
Phil 2:7ish tells us Jesus was God and equal to God.
Jesus became a man...a servant...and in Jesus' incarnate role as a servant presented God the Father (the first of the trinity) as His God.

Jesus wasn't a created being.

Your incorrect interpretation doesn't fit the Hebrew poetic parallelism. Period.
