Where do you see this in the word? You cannot choose to be Born Again....pointless trying to argue with the word of God.
He won’t stand for it as his word says.
Does not john 3 say we have to chose to believe?

Thats why he told the corinthians he still had to feed them Milk and not meat. Because they could not understand the meat..Even Peter found some things that Paul wrote in his letters to be hard to understand (2 Peter 3:16). Do you think you are better than Peter when it comes to understanding?
God brings us to belief...we believe...but..we don’t choose the rebirth..Born Again...nowhere in God’s word does it say that.?Where do you see this in the word?

It is not dry bones that are dead in trespasses and rebellion against God. It is not dry bones that are made spiritually alive. The physical flesh, blood and bones are alive. It is the spirit that died as a result of trespasses and sins. It is the spirit that is made alive again. God does that through the "redemption through his (Jesus') blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses" (Eph 1:7). Paul says in Ephesians 2:5 that (God),"even when we were (spiritually) dead in our trespasses, made us (our spirits) alive together with Christ-". Only the Spirit of the living God can take dry bones, dead in trespasses and rebellion against God, and make them spiritually alive (Ephesians 2:1-5
This is calvinistic fatalism.God brings us to belief...we believe...but..we don’t choose the rebirth..Born Again...nowhere in God’s word does it say that.?
That’s your opinion....to which I agree with none of it, as you already know.It is not dry bones that are dead in trespasses and rebellion against God. Yes, and that is why we know that Paul, in chapter 2, was talking about himself and the other apostles and prophets being given divine revelation. He was not talking about the ordinary Christian.Thats why he told the corinthians he still had to feed them Milk and not meat. Because they could not understand the meat..

Paul did not say anything we can not understand. They were given meat, and those who are mature enough to eat meat can understand itYes, and that is why we know that Paul, in chapter 2, was talking about himself and the other apostles and prophets being given divine revelation. You speak for yourself. This is calvinistic fatalism.
God brings us to him and then tells us we have to make a decision.
We either believe him or we do not
Jesus used the example of Mose lifting the serpent on a pole
Numbers 21:8
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
The people had to CHOSE in faith to look at the serpent. If they did not CHOSE to believe and refused to look, they died.
This is what Jesus said we must do.
As moses lifted the serpent, so to must the son of man be lifted up so WHOSOEVER believes in hi, will not perish, but have eternal life
No he doesn’t and no he didn’t...God brings us to him and then tells us we have to make a decision.
lolYou speak for yourself.
I was Born Again like the wind.
We don’t choose faith we are given faith, when God brings our spirit Alive.
I was never told how to become Born Again...that’s ridiculous as God’s word says.
Which is why you are wrong. That’s your opinion....to which I agree with none of it, as you already know.
Where have I ever said any different? But I would ask you what the difference is in the condition of the spirit before and after regeneration. What did God do to bring about that difference? It’s our spirit that needs to be regenerated.
I didn't say anything about "our head knowledge". You are the one claiming special head knowledge. Not our head knowledge...
Whatever!No he doesn’t and no he didn’t...
That is not in the scripture of a Born Again....
Born Again is very easy to understand....
Don’t agree with any of this..it’s also nonsense to me.lol
well keep on going, You are hurting the case for eternal security with your calvinistic nonsense
I was born again like the wind also. When I because as the tax collector in that room and got on my knees and cried out to jesus
Like the wind he came and save me and adopted me as his son.
I could have chosen to walk away and not make that decision. But I did not.
But if you want to think you are so special God chose you out of all those people he chose to send to hell and not even give them a chance to believe well Feel free, do not let me stop you.
But I am against fatalism. It is a mock On Gods love and integrity.
Born Again is a gift from God,Sure Gifts from God such as ‘born again’ is very easy to understand…
WHEN…two; “God’ and “A MAN” are IN Agreement, Each having CHOSEN the other, according to a COMMITTED Agreement.
You are preaching FORCE without Consent.
A man is NOT FORCED to believe in God, to agree with God, to choose God, to commit to God, to Be born again of Gods seed…
WITHOUT the mans Consent.
Ignoring Scriptural content, regarding men agreeing, choosing, electing, committing, unto God, as well is your choice, to do or not.
We’re you there with me when I became Born Again like the wind...having never read a Bible....?Whatever!
How you can read John 3 and say this boggles my mind..
God brings us to belief...we believe...but..we don’t choose the rebirth..Born Again...nowhere in God’s word does it say that.?
And God’s word says....you must be Born Again.....a Living Spiritual birth, that only God can do.John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
