1. Since salvation only comes by forgiveness of sins, and OSAS teaches all sins are already forgiven when first saved, then the first teaching of OSAS is OFAF: Once Forgiven Always Forgiven.

With OFAF, once any soul confesses being a sinner in need of forgiveness and salvation by Jesus Christ, then no such confession is necessary in future, since the soul is already forgiven of all sinning, past, present, and future.

2. Since forgiveness by confession is no more necessary in future, then confession is no more needed with godly sorrow from the heart, which is necessary only for forgiveness of sinning.

Since the state of the already forgiven soul has no more to do with confession, then confession no more has to do with the condition of the heart.

With OFAF, confession of any future sinning, therefore, becomes repetition prayer only: the Rosary of OSAS.

With OFAF, confession after being saved, cannot be from the heart for forgiveness of the soul, but is only confessing with the mouth for conscience sake.

Only when their conscience is pricked from time to time, do they feel the need to repeat their Rosary confession.

At least the Catholic Rosary is repetitive prayer for forgiveness of sinning and repentance.

But, Catholics do not believe in OSAS nor OFAF.

Nor do righteousness Christians.

OSAS with OFAF is simply a another sect of Christianity all it's own.

What is OSAS?
Once Saved Always Saved. Once any soul believes Jesus is the Christ, then that soul is unconditionally eternally saved, without any need of works on the part of believers, whether spiritually or bodily.

Christians are saved and justified without works, but by faith only.

What is OSAS?

OSAS is a twisted idea created by the Devil, in Paul's day.
Jude wrote about it...
He said that these devil led deceivers created the Satanic idea that God's Grace is "licentiousness", when its taught correctly.

In Paul's day, there were heretics who accused Paul of teaching license to sin.
They said ... "you are teaching that we should sin, so that God's Grace would come".
And the reason they misunderstood Paul's Gospel of the GRACE of GOD...., is because they were not born again. So, they could not HEAR or DISCERN what Paul meant when He taught God's Grace, so in their carnality they misinterpreted it as Him teaching that God's Grace is a permission to sin.

Today, the same type of religious heretic, still can't understand God's Grace, and they still teach that The Grace of God, when taught as Paul taught it, is License to Sin.

Paul never taught that you can sin and there is no penalty.
No real believer would ever teach such a lie.
What Paul taught is that because Jesus became your sin, you wont be judged for it after you die, as Christ has already been judged for them all, On the Cross.

So, found today, its a specific type of obsessed heretic who lives to breath fire against the Grace of God, and that is because they dont understand God's Grace, or they dont possess it.

A True Believer, understands that all their sin has been dealt with on the Cross of Christ., however, this does not provide them with a free ticket to live like the devil.

I've been reading about OSAS for many years on Forums.
I noticed that this very Thread was closed today, but now its up and running again..
Liars always say that those who understand Eternal Life, and have possession of it and teach Eternal Life, are teaching that you can do what you want to do.
And in fact, you can, as you have free will, but be not deceived, God is not mocked, and when you live to sin and are a Believer, then you will suffer consequences on Earth, but never will you be judged for Sin after you die, as Christ has been judged for them all, already, on the Cross on earth.

The other lie that lives on these type of carnal Threads, is that the OP or someone who is ranting their misunderstanding about OSAS, is that they claim that OSAS is Taught as "license to sin".
Well, im in the ministry since 1986, and ive never heard any Preacher, Minister, Pope, Bishop, or similar, teach that you can sin freely because you are under the Grace of God., born again.
This is never taught, yet LiARS fill up forums talking about OSAS, and say that this is "taught".
Its not.
Thats just one more lie created by the Pack of Legalists, who do not understand the Cross of Christ, or the Blood Atonement, and have no use for the Grace of God, nor do they have any New Testament Theological understanding of it, as its taught by PAUL the Apostle as "MY Gospel".

An OFAF believer agrees that any confession of more sinning, after having already confessed to being a sinner to Christ once, is only to feel better until sinning again. To soothe the conscience only.

Hence: OFAF confession is only repetitive Rosary without godly sorrow from the heart.

The true is, we only need confess a sin once, and Jesus will forgive us of that sin forever. The devil will say the past forgiven sin is not really forgiven.

But being forgiven of a past sin to be remembered no more, is not being forgiven of any future sinning we may do.

If any man sin, we have an Advocate with Jesus to be forgiven of it, if we confess it with godly sorrow.

Please help me to understand this. Does OSAS mean we can NEVER be unsaved once we are saved??? Is that not a license to sin?

Yes: unconditional security of the soul to be saved forever, based upon believing it alone. They don't call it a license to sin, but only an unavoidable fact for saved sinners, which is because of the doctrine they believe.

The don't sin by license but by doctrine, which is I suppose theologically comparing apples to oranges, since the result is the same.

It is often urged that once a "saved" person begins to once again live a life of sin, it is because they were never "saved" to begin with, which means, effectively, that we can always fool ourselves into believing we are saved when, actually, we are not which is a useless basis for assurance, which is the aim of the "OSAS," aka eternal security doctrine, to begin with. If all this is new and troublesome to you, simply claim the peace that Jesus promises—He will get you through the confusion and debate. :)

when you live to sin and are a Believer, then you will suffer consequences on Earth,
.
.
Isn't this kind of insulting and heartless, considering those who suffer horribly throughout their lives, not commensurate with their own offenses committed, B? You don't really believe people receive their just reward in this life, do you? You seem more sensible than to believe that. Please forgive me if I am just erecting a straw man. :)

Since the state of the already forgiven soul has no more to do with confession, then confession no more has to do with the condition of the heart.

With OFAF, confession of any future sinning, therefore, becomes repetition prayer only: the Rosary of OSAS.

But that's not how confession was with the early Church. Per 1 John 1 those in Christ still need to confess future sin to Christ Jesus and ask Him forgiveness, to stay in His Grace. And one CAN... fall from His Grace, as He showed with those in Matthew 7.

God will not be mocked. His Grace will not be mocked. So those who think they cannot fall away need to tread carefully, and watch their spiritual walk.

What a load of LOW DOWN malarky!
Who are you to attach such nonsense to what Others Believe?
Attach your made up; (OFAF and Rosary nonsense to yourself!)

Cheap, Deceptive!

Yet he is very... correct with that idea, because those who believe in the absolutism of OSAS, are taught they have NO FURTHER NEED TO EVER REPENT OF SIN. They are taught that LIE because of the children of darkness they listen to that tell them Jesus already forgave ALL... of our future sins!

That is a doctrine of the devil, and because the gullible love how it sounds and believe it, they will fall away from Christ into iniquity while thinking they are saved.

And I thought all Christians were bound to believe the same truths revealed by God in Christ!

One faith!

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

One heart / one mind

Acts 4:32
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul:

Romans 15:6
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Apostles received the truth from Christ and are inspired by the Holy Spirit and are commanded to teach all men! Jn 8:32 Jn 16:13 Matt 28:19

Apostles have same mission, power, ministry, and authority as Christ!
Jn 20:21

The sacred deposit of faith

Thee faith once delivered to the saints! Jude 1:3

Without (revealed catholic) faith it is impossible to please God! Heb 11:6

The church possesses the truths revealed by Christ in person, not from scripture, Jude 1:3, 1 Tim 3:15
Matt 18:17

The church is eternal!

The same yesterday, today, and forever!

2 John 1:12
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

Apostle Paul showed that first belief on Jesus Christ and baptism is for the remission of sins THAT ARE PAST.

Rom 3:24-25
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

KJV

And that is applied on an INDIVIDUAL BASIS once one believes on Jesus Christ.

So can we still commit future sin AFTER... having believed on Jesus and been baptized? If not, then why did Christ and His Apostles waste so much time WARNING believers to stay in the WALK with Him by The Holy Spirit? Why did Apostle Paul waste so much time with His Epistles that WARN brethren to not fall away, and stay away from sin???

It is very plain per what God's Word actually teaches, that those who think they can never sin again after having believed on Jesus Christ, that those are in danger of Jesus saying to them, "I never knew you" (Matthew 7).
