Excellent commentary by got.

A “walk” in the Bible is often a metaphor for practical daily living. The Christian life is a journey, and we are to walk it—we are to make consistent forward progress. The biblical norm for all believers is that they walk in the Spirit: “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25, KJV; cf. Romans 8:14). In other words, the Spirit gave us life in the new birth (John 3:6), and we must continue to live, day by day, in the Spirit.

To walk in the Spirit means that we yield to His control, we follow His lead, and we allow Him to exert His influence over us. To walk in the Spirit is the opposite of resisting Him or grieving Him (Ephesians 4:30).

Galatians 5 examines the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer. The context is freedom from the Law of Moses (Galatians 5:1). Those who walk in the Spirit “eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope” (verse 5) and are free from the Law (verse 18). Also, those who walk in the Spirit “will not gratify the desires of the flesh” (verse 16). The flesh—our fallen nature under the power of sin—is in direct conflict with the Spirit (verse 17). When the flesh is in charge, the results are obvious (verses 19–21). But when the Spirit is in control, He produces godly qualities within us, apart from the strictures of the Law (verses 22–23). Believers “have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” (verse 24), and now we walk in the Spirit (verse 25).

Those who walk in the Spirit are united with Him and are the bearers of the fruit the Spirit produces. Thus, those who walk in the Spirit walk in love—they live in love for God and for their fellow man. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in joy—they exhibit gladness in what God has done, is doing, and will do. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in peace—their lives are not defined by worry or anxiety (Philippians 4:6). Those who walk in the Spirit walk in patience—they are known for having a “long fuse” and do not lose their temper. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in kindness—they show tender concern for the needs of others. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in goodness—their actions reflect virtue and holiness. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in faithfulness—they are steadfast in their trust of God and His Word. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in gentleness—their lives are characterized by humility, grace, and thankfulness to God. Those who walk in the Spirit walk in self-control—they display moderation, constraint, and the ability to say “no” to the flesh.

Those who walk in the Spirit rely on the Holy Spirit to guide them in thought, word, and deed (Romans 6:11–14). They show forth daily, moment-by-moment holiness, just as Jesus did when, “full of the Holy Spirit, [He] left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness” to be tempted (Luke 4:1).

To walk in the Spirit is to be filled with the Spirit, and some results of the Spirit’s filling are thankfulness, singing, and joy (Ephesians 5:18–20; Colossians 3:16). Those who walk in the Spirit follow the Spirit’s lead. They “let the word of Christ dwell in [them] richly” (Colossians 3:16, ESV), and the Spirit uses the Word of God “for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Their whole way of life is lived according to the rule of the gospel, as the Spirit moves them toward obedience. When we walk in the Spirit, we find that the sinful appetites of the flesh have no more dominion over us.

Sadly.... they left out how important it is to know what God teaches in His Word.

Maybe someone can email them and have them update this to include the following....

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

They left out nothing...I suggest you ask God to open your heart to understand what it means to be Born Again.

To which you dismiss every time it is mentioned.

We are called to test every Spirit.....and we do!

Got commentary is NOT the word of God. A group of mixed Calvinists ( 4 pt. some claim), yapping their own interpretation & opinions. There are those that seem to think they are the embodiment of God's word.
How sad to be so easily blown around like the wind in a tornado; here & there,! No foundation, all sand!

My foundation is on the living word of God.
...I’m Born Again...and stand on that living word, when I was birthed in the Spirit....there is no other ground to stand on....only those who stand on their own ground...which is of no worth and void.
Got is excellent commentary...coming from Born Again not from those who lip serve..the word of God.....they are also as crafty as a fox..the devil uses them to try and get one to rise!.LOL.

False prophets who lip serve and don’t know what it means to be Born Again..

All they do is post reams and reams of scripture.

Then when asked what it means....NO ANSWER....

Only lip service....are they grounded in.

New Born Again believers....you can never lose your salvation...why, because you are standing on God’s Living Word, which can NEVER EVER be erased from you heart/ Spirit.

Those who preach you can lose your salvation , is a lie from the devil....they are the ones who only lip serve and can NEVER explain what it truly means to have had the Living spiritual rebirth.

It’s sad that they are being deceived....only God can open their heart to receive such spiritual knowledge.

They only lip serve, by posting their own understanding of scripture....some don’t even know what heart knowledge means...they only have head knowledge and think/ believe they are grounded in God’s word.

NO they aren’t they are grounded in their own word...which is dead in Spirit.

A person is "born again" through faith in Jesus Christ, who took the judgement for our sins to give his righteousness to anyone who would believe in him.

It is an experience when everything one have been taught about God/ Christ becomes real, and one develops a direct and personal relationship with God.

The Bible teaches that all humans have sinned. Romans 3:23 KJV: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

However, by acknowledging your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and Redeemer, you begin a journey walk into his righteous standard of living. To be reborn, one must recognize how Jesus died for your sins and how, through him, you've been made righteous before God.

Scripture is very clear that the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit comes only through the hearing of the Gospel message .Romans 10:17 17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Only in the Gospel does the Spirit move to open up a person's eyes, ears and heart through the Father's gift of faith.

Just a we are regenerated by his Spirit and renewed in our minds daily, we must be feed by the very words that give life to the dead; the word of GOD!

In order to believe this... once must hold on to a select few happy verses, and throw the rest of God's Word in the trash! Those that believe in OSAS suffer from Cherry Pickers Syndrome (CPS)

OSAS is satan's most favorite false doctrine... right up their with catholicism and islam!

A Born Again....is spiritually birthed by the Holy Spirit.

God opens the heart...not you....it’s a living birth...you are incapable of believing in Jesus and birthing yourself in the Spirit.

Anyone can say they believe in Jesus...oh no sir....one must be Born Again from above.....without that living spiritual birth.

It is what it is LIP SERVICE...regardless of the reams of scripture they post...one must believe from the heart, and only God can open the heart ...and birth his child supernaturally.

In order for one to believe this.

One must be truly Born from Above...Born Again...to which you have no understanding..as you are yet to answer all the questions that have been fired at you regarding the rebirth?

One who truly doesn’t understand what it means to be Born from Above.

There was no interrogation...any Born Again would be able to answer the easy question?

As many have asked you.

You stand on sand...QUICK SAND!....Lip service...

One must be truly Born Again and 100% will know in their heart/ spirit ..that they have been birthed in the spirit...which is a supernatural act of God..

That we can NEVER EVER lose our salvation...a done deal...

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!" (Sir Walter Scott, 1808)

Deceiving of self is the worst form of deception.
Jeremiah 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Only God !

He, however, is willing to reveal TRUTH unto us if we let him, but he will not force it upon us.
Psalm 34:18-22 KJV
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
He will not despise.

The ones who lip serve the word of God need to know this.
Scripture is meaningless unless it’s said in the Spirit.....they are serving And glorifying their “ OWN “knowledge of scripture...a Born Again knows this and will only Glorify God.

John 3
Berean Standard Bible Par ▾
Jesus and Nicodemus
(Genesis 22:1–10; Romans 5:6–11)
1Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews.2He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with him.”
3Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.a
4“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”
5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. 7Do not be amazed that I said, ‘Youb must be born again.’ 8The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

This is how we know the OSAS teachers are false teachers cause... they don't accept ALL Truth.

That's because they suffer from acute Cherry Pickers Syndrome! :stageright:
