2 Corinthians 13:5

“ Test yourself to see if you are in the Faith...If you pass this test you will discover that Jesus Christ is IN you....( God's Greatest Mystery, Kept Secret for Millenia , revealed by Paul —- “Christ IN you” —- the Hope for Glory ).....If you pass this Test, you will discover that Christ is IN you .....If He is NOT in you.....you Fail the Test.....indeed you are a reprobate.....”

How does one know that Jesus is “ IN” them? .....1Cor 12:3........” ..No one is able to say “ Jesus is Lord” ( and of course , MEAN IT ) Without the help of the Holy Spirit .....

So......do you pass the Test? Seems to me that as long as one can muster up enough Faith to Believe that Jesus is God in the Flesh , he’s got enough Faith to be Saved.....
What does everybody else think.....have we been guilty of creating too many Hoops for “ wanna- be” Believers to jump through ?
It might be simpler than this, even , to get into “ The Body Of Christ”.....Where, btw, your Salvation is UNTOUCHABLE! Jesus said that if you will simply “ Acknowledge HIM Before Men, He will Acknowledge YOU Before His Father” ....Too Simple? Too easy? What do you think?

You must "confess" that is, agree with God, that Jesus is your Lord...

If you are disobedient then God does not say that Jesus is your Lord (because it is not the case and God will not speak a lie)...

And therefore if you say "Jesus is my Lord" but are disobedient, it is no confession; you are not agreeing with God because God never said that Jesus is your Lord because it is not the truth.

Therefore, obedience is a necessary thing.

Jesus will say, Depart from me, to those who work iniquity (Matthew 7:23)...

Those who do iniquity will be cast into a furnace of fire (Matthew 13:41-42, Matthew 25:41).

Not everyone who says to Jesus, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of His Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21).

Sine everyone is born dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1), it should be clear that God requires that you make a 180-degree turn away from sin, death, hell, and satan towards righteousness, life, heaven, and God.

You must also appropriate the blood of Jesus to your life; which is the only way that you can have your sins cleansed from you (1 John 1:7, Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29; John 14:6) so that you can begin to walk a walk of righteousness.

That righteousness (the absence of sinning in your lifestyle) is a requirement for the kingdom of heaven is evident in such verses as Matthew 13:41-42; Matthew 7:23, Matthew 25:41.
