outwardly....yes! Inwardly to God's laws.

So, are we subject to mans laws?
Paul said I’m judged of no manoutwardly....yes! Inwardly to God's laws.
So maybe perfection lies in the total disregard of the flesh?Paul said I’m judged of no man
Paul said I’m judged of no man
Jesus was perfect according to God’s law not mans law. He loved the Father with all his heart mind body and soul, and he loved man as he loved himself.another bad interp wadr,
I came that you might have life, and more abundantly
it is given for a man to live once
be perfect as I am perfect
from a Guy who broke like every single ordinance, no less
so, read Dialectically that means...something different, ok, it is a way to hide wisdom from the wise
the kingdom of heaven is within you
although surely flesh-thinking will not inherit

Paul tells those who are already within the Kingdom of God: LET US GO ON UNTO PERFECTION. So mull that over.is ‘perfect’ is in the kingdom of God which is within?
How often is it asked where is the body? Where is the church of God? Consider Paul who when a Pharisee thought he was doing the will of God in taking those base things not highly esteemed among men and bringing them to be judged of men. Galatians 1:13-14 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: [14] And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
“...and profited in religion (exalted)above many equals ...zealous of the traditions...
James 2:1-3
[1] My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. [2] For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; [3] And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
Luke 16:15
[15] And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
It seems those footstools...the least of these: are very likely the church(body). Luke 22:25-27 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. [26] But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. [27] For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
Not inwardly....from the motivation. Our life is hid with God. There is an inversion that takes place whereby people accuse you of their own failings.
I don't disagree to these, but I have to note the lengths ppl will goto to avoid confession too.Jesus was perfect according to God’s law not mans law. He loved the Father with all his heart mind body and soul, and he loved man as he loved himself.
i dunno if "didn't observe" is right or not, kind of hard to justify in One Who said "the Sabbath was made for man" imo?Interesting, he didn’t observe the sabbath.
It would help if you tried to answer a question, I 'm not interested in super spiritual messages.
How does your church, the group of people you meet with each and every week deal with scruffy people or those with learning difficulties?
To make it easier for you. My church is in a well off suburb and scruffly dressed people stand out. Yes they are aware of it as there is a big difference between wearing smart jeans and tee shirt and being scruff. Despite being welcomed ans spoken to by many people they rarely return.
We have several people with different levels of learning disability, one is so severe that there is a rota of people who accompany that child, the same team has done this for ten years building a rapour with the child and helping in what ever ways they can.
What does your church do?
I wonder if Jesus was not "perfect" like suggested in that movie "Heal?" Prolly w/o having to go through all the new-agey therapy jazz, bc He was never ill, but I suspect that He got their central point, as you think, so are you maybe?Jesus was perfect according to God’s law not mans law. He loved the Father with all his heart mind body and soul, and he loved man as he loved himself.
I would encourage you to watch Heal pEnoch. And imo never mind the suggested therapies for now anyway, and some of the language used by a therapist or two, that I maybe didn't agree with either. Bc there is nonetheless an important point about "perfection" in itPaul tells those who are already within the Kingdom of God: LET US GO ON UNTO PERFECTION. So mull that over.
well, Paul also said 1 Corinthians 11:31 Lexicon: But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged., so see that that is not the end of the matter. Maybe when we get to where Paul is or something, or more likely he means that in a diff context, but I would be judging myself til further notice regardless!Paul said I’m judged of no man
The law was changed (Hebrews 7.12); and what we now have is better than the law (Hebrews 7.19). It revolves around the fact that the Lord Jesus is made for ever a priest after the order of Melchizedek.Interesting, he didn’t observe the sabbath. In reading the gospels He did orchestrate his on death. But he wasn’t and isn’t subject to mans’ laws

Honestly I don’t go to church. I’ve been to countless churches but I’ve never found one where I fit. It was me, not them. Those you mentioned as visiting a few times to never return...that’s me. For most of my life I’ve struggled with panic attacks and anxiety and steered clear of public places. The panic is gone so now is the first time in my life I could actually go sit through a church service. Wish I could tell you more but I’ve never really given church a fair chance.
