Him and his idiot BO thought it was solar power. While I like Solar for an RV it's just not practical on a huge scale plus making the panels are much worse on the environment, coal is cleaner

If they really wanted to they could sandwhich radioactive hydrogen impregnated nylar in solar cells and run everyones homes off of it. The would run for 20+ years. You could run cars from them also.

Oh here we go, the climate hoax

This is the real divide. There are so many issues and so many problems with wealth and interest it is almost impossible to tell the difference.

China is a hostile dangerous country. Ever since the trade issues with China, they have started spending serious money on their navy, building ships in 6 months rather than 2 years. If you thought about it, China is going to war. Why does China need a navy the size of the USA or bigger? Because it believes the USA will oppose its methods and interest.

This is a foundational issue of our times, like Hitler in Germany building up their weapons before the second world war. You only need weapons if you are going to use them.

Climate change is real, and passive control by changed behaviour is not enough. We need active CO2 pumping, and global planning on the impacts. One is talking billions of people affected in our life time and we are now on the worst case scenario. The wild west was a picnic to the challenges we now face.
Water crisis, sand crisis, climate crisis, economic crisis, pandemic, food crisis, polution crisis, over fishing crisis. We as a human race are so vast, we rule the world, and we have changed the world. We have destroyed 50% of the bio diversity of the planet, and we are on the way to destroying the other 50%.

So with this backdrop the election is actually a drop in the ocean.
With every crisis there is money to be made solving it, it is the race of our generation. God bless you

I only watched the last 15-20 minutes of the debate or so. It did seem cleaner than the first debate though.

With this pandemic the amount of airplane travel is really down...
Airplanes tend to pollute a lot. And I guarantee that this lack of pollution is really helpful.
Millions of airplanes are just as bad as billions of cars, trucks, and busses.

China claims to be efficient by the use of boilers and steam heat piped to the housing...but their dates for doing so are way too late into the fall and cut off too early in the spring. So people get buckets of coal to burn to keep warm...and it's very very polluting.

In places like Honduras there's no central trash pickup...so people use burn pits for their trash. The smoldering trash pits are absolutely choking every morning. They could build a proper trash service with incinerators to burn it cleanly...but they can't afford to.

That stock market is what drives the Job Market and small businesses...I'm guessing that people are going to have to learn this lesson again the hard way.
They actually do live off the stock market...it's convoluted and backhanded in the way they do...but when that thing crashes see what happens.

Currency is a medium of exchange...
If it simply represents a barter system of goods exchanged for goods then both sides of a barter are subject to the fluctuations of supply and demand.
No stable medium of exchange is involved.

Which is why a fiat monetary system is preferred if it is kept stable.

Now the problem exists when the fiat money is tampered with by politicians or the wealthy elite or banking systems. These things can destroy a fiat money system...and they don't end well when they do.
