Love to one another is the pinnacle goal of all Biblical doctrine
I hear what you are saying, and I respect your teachings very much. That said, there is no greater, Biblical objective, for every human being to achieve in this life, than to be Purified of the Curse of the Sinful Nature, to be lifted of the disabling Curse of Adam and Eve. If we do not Turn to Christ for the Removal of this Sinful Mind of Satan, only to replace it with the Mind of Christ . . . we can know all things and do all things, but Jesus will still say, "Get away from me, you Lawbreakers."
Jesus is referring to the worldly Laws of Moses, and not the Spiritual, Enabling Laws of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2,3). For those who live by the Laws of the Spirit of Life, these are the ones who share in the Divine Nature of Christ, the New Nature that Enables, or even Causes one to Obey and live Righteously. Without the Indwelling, Divine Nature, how could anyone Obey?
Therefore, because no one whose Heart is right with the Lord, they will be Justified by Faith, not by Worldly Laws. This is amazing . . . Romans 4:14-15 NKJV - "For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, 15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression."
Because Jesus referred to those who were doing His "Work," as Lawbreakers, it is because they had not actually Turned to Christ for the Purification of their Hearts, thus, any "Work" that they may have performed, their efforts still render themselves as Lawbreakers. Christ had not removed their Stony Hearts nor given then a Right and Renewed Spirit, thus they attempt justification according to the Law, but as Paul clearly teaches, anyone who attempts to live by worldly Law, they remain under the Curse of God.
Galatians 3:10-14 NKJV - "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed [is] everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them." 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God [is] evident, for "the just shall live by faith." 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but "the man who does them shall live by them." 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed [is] everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
And what is that Blessing of Abraham? It is the Blessing of Circumcision, but not that by the hands of men, but by the Holy and Spiritual Hands of Jesus Christ. Thus, I give you the gift of the "Two Elevens," the two distinctive passages that show the difference between wordly circumcision and Spiritual Circumcision. Yes, Circumcision is the utter Core of the Entire Bible, for without it, none of God's Word would make any sense at all.
Ephesians 2:11-12 KJV - "Wherefore remember, that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands . . ." - This physical circumcision cannot save a person's soul.
Colossians 2:11 KJV - "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ . . ." - This Spiritual Circumcision, however, is the only, ONLY act that saves a person's soul.
Romans 1:17 NLT - "This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." - And what is that Faith? It is the Faith of Circumcision, that those who belong to the Family of Circumcision, these are the True Children of God.
Romans 2:28-29 NLT - "For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. 29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God's Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people."
I realize that I am long-winded, but believe me . . . there is so, so much more so as to demonstrate what I've written above. And this is why, precisely, I suggest that Circumcision of the Heart is the Core Objective not only of the Bible, but it should be considered the single most important event in the life of any human being. For without the Circumcision of Christ, to Love as described in First Corinthians will be utterly impossible. So again, to be Circumcised by Christ is what produces Righteous and Holy Love, thus Spiritual Circumcision is the Objective of God, and thus should be the Spiritual Objective for all who live.
Deuteronomy 30:6 KJV - "And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live."
Ezekiel 36:26 KJV - "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."
Without the Circumcision of Heart, the Bible would not be written, for there would be no rational Plan or Purpose within it.
NC . . . please forgive me for such a lengthy response. I hope that what I have done does not disturb you. If so, please for me.
