(Joyful;16757)
This has nothing to do with everone's salvation. Only people who overcome will have salvation. You are interpreting that they will be the rulers of disobedience. disobedience will perish like Jesus is saying. "for God so love the world that He gave His Son who ever believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Non-believers will perish!!! You are changing around Jesus' word.
You are in error here...it did not say that these nations will perish, that is putting into this verse that is not there. It simply say that those who over come will have power over the nations. This verse is simply saying the saints will be given authority/rulership/power over the nations. Having power over the nations means the saints will rule over the nations. You see Jesus is not returning only to glorify the saints, then take us back to heaven. Jesus is coming to this world to say.Revelation 5:10 (KJV) 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 20:4 (KJV) 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 1 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV) 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Zechariah 14:4 (KJV) 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. People will come and worship before the feet of the saintsRevelation 3:9 (KJV) 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. It makes no sense for Jesus to crown the saints kings and priest, if they have no one to rule over. And since the saints will be rulling over nations, it means that these people are being saved.Because Jesus will set up His kingdom on the earth in Jerusalem, people will go up for instruction and how to serve God. The mountain of the Lord's house is referring to the saints.Isaiah 2:1-4 (KJV) 1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
