Bizarre and evil to say Jesus is wrestling with his inner demons.
Anyone who think this way, maybe is demonized and wrestling with his own inner demons.
I have heard a couple of different things, that when the Word was made flesh and led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil but in the sense that Jesus had to wrestle his own inner serpent/serpents. And I have heard that satan is just mankind, or satan is just mans spirit, all the while not being omnipresent either. And there are a couple of others I can't figure out how they mish mash it together.
John 8

Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

Before Abraham Was, I AM

48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.
50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.
51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”

Yeah, and they were Abraham's seed

John 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Abraham's seed born after the flesh (Gal 4:23-24)

Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. (John 15:20 )

Romans 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Romans 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I have been inundated with many Youtube videos about the Rapture happening on Sept. 23-24, 2025. But many of them seemed fake, fabrications generated by AI.
This is popular now, AI generated stories or ads that are very articulate, creative as if written by a Phd in Journalism. Adults and children telling stories of accidents, (NDE's), going to heaven, seeing Jesus and returning to give us a message can't possibly all express themselves like Hemingway with a keen knowledge of the Bible.
AI can develop a story as one prompts it with particular parameters, styles, in line with Biblical truths in such a brilliant way - in seconds - with access to and information sifted from 5 billion books. It is quite amazing. But that is the flaw in it, it is not communicated in a common way.
So after listening to many of these fake AI stories that are usually generated for monetary purposes, which have all taken advantage of this date to attract attention, I just about dismissed the whole idea. Btw, it is the Feast of Trumpets on Tuesday - which many have supposed the last trumpet would be part of.
I woke up this morning and a notion came to me. When did these stories start appearing? Recently, most of them in August and September this year. But where did they get this idea? There must have been an original claim, with a real person talking and giving his account. And I found one story. The difference is, this one is not a near death experience, it was a 2018 Vision by this South African Christian named Joshua.
I don't know at this point if he is the real deal ... but maybe? But his story is interesting, it doesn't seem fabricated, he doesn't sound like a liar. What say you?
Don't mean to freak you out ... I mean I have been talking about this for 25 years and anticipating His return. And so I feel like the boy who cried wolf enough times and after a while, when a wolf really came, nobody would believe him.
Just pray everyday, ask Him to bless your family and keep you safe. Be thankful for what God has given you. He will return soon. ??? Please read 1 Cor. 15:51-55 & 1 Thes. 4:16-17
BTW, this goes against my belief sbout the timing of last trumpet, which I have for years believed it was the 7th Trumpet in Rev. 11:15. Oh well.

***Addendum SEPT. 30:
The dates have come and gone and most believe Joshua's prediction to be false. However, a new lifeline has been thrown to Joshua ... who was dillisioned and confused! IF the Old Julian calendar used for 1500 years is used during Jesus' time, those dates are 13 days behind the Gregorian Calendar. Sounds erroneous! Oh well, no skin off my back ...
I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. The full moon (a super and harvest moon), will appear at 6:47 AM Jerusalem time on the 7th. So on the 9th, I will call it what it is, the rest of you have already made up your mind.
Just for the record, Joshua's prediction was proven wrong.
Even as some may have granted him leniency, a second and even third chance to resolve his apparent confusion about his initial date, they have also been untruthful. "This calendar", "that calendar" ... "Oh no, it's the Enoch calendar" ... desperate acts. Still, I believe Jesus is coming soon, just feel the dating game is over.

No ... really ... I think we are very close. Rumor has that those demon locusts have been released ... the 5th trumpet must have been sounded ... wait a minute ...are you one of them? You can't sting me, I have been sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And [b]they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.

I think many of them are congregating up there in Michigan around one of their queens, Governor Whitmer, how's her sting? She only has one wing though, the LEFT. We try to keep all the locusts out of our state in Texas, it's healthier ... life's good.

No their king is Abaddon/Apollyon, not Jesus. You are teaching falsely.

Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
Rev 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Rev 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
Rev 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

A·polʹlyon The Greek name used by the apostle John to translate the Hebrew “Abaddon” at Revelation 9:11. Apollyon means “Destroyer,” and is given as the name of “the angel of the abyss.” Though most reference works apply this name to some evil personage or force, the whole setting of the apocalyptic vision is to the contrary, as it consistently portrays angels being used by God to bring woes upon His enemies. The use of the related verb a·polʹly·mi illustrates this, as at James 4:12, which says of God: “One there is that is lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy.”
The unclean spirit cast out of a man by Jesus in a synagogue at Capernaum acknowledged Jesus as God’s agent and said: “What have we to do with you, Jesus you Nazarene? Did you come to destroy us?” (Mr 1:24; Lu 4:34) Jesus warned unrepentant opposers among his listeners of the danger of being destroyed. (Lu 13:3-5; 20:16) These and other texts point to the glorified Christ Jesus as the one referred to by this title.
''Apollyon
.” The resurrected heavenly Jesus Christ is the “angel of the abyss,” for he holds the “keys of death and of Haʹdes.” In the finale of the universal war of Armageddon he will bind and pitch Satan the Devil and his spirit demons into the abyss of deathlike inactivity. (Rev. 20:1-3) When Jesus was on earth as a man, he was a Hebrew, and now in his capacity as Jehovah’s royal Executioner he is called by the Hebrew name Abadʹdon, which means Destruction. (Job 26:6; 28:22; 31:12; 12:23; 14:19) In the Greek in which the inspired Christian Scriptures were written his similar title is Apollyon, which means Destroyer. This name clearly shows that he comes to the throne at God’s right hand to rule first in the midst of his enemies and to destroy them in execution of Jehovah’s righteous judgment, Jehovah’s judicial decision

(Chuckle) Totally false! Let read carefully:

This clearly refers to the spirit of the adversary—man’s own rebellious spirit—which had been restrained by Christ so that He could build His church until all the Elect were secured. Once that time comes, the spirit of those who have not yet been sealed (not saved) will be released, that shall torment them to remain in spiritual bondage. Even if they seek death in Christ or desire to “die in Christ” (salvation), they will not find it, for the day of salvation will have ended once all the Elect are secured.

So, who is the angel over those who are deceived? Of course—it is Satan, not Jesus Christ!

Revelation 9:11
  • "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."
This verse is not referring to Jesus Christ. He is not the “king” of the locusts that attack those who are not sealed by God. Satan is not merely an angel but a spirit - - as the messenger of evil. Apollyon (or Abaddon) is Satan, the same spirit and ruler over the deceived. “Apollyon” means “destruction,” and that perfectly describes his work here. He rules over the spiritual army from the abyss, bringing spiritual death to the unfaithful.

The Hebrew word [abaddon] appears only here in the New Testament and five times in the Old Testament (Job 26:6; 28:22; 31:12; Psalm 88:11; Proverbs 15:11), and always in connection with death. This same messenger from hell (hades) brings destruction upon the unfaithful congregation—those within it who are not truly sealed.

In Revelation 20, when Satan is loosed, God makes this truth even more clear. It reveals Satan’s entire purpose and nature: the ultimate adversary of the church—not the world, for the world is already his domain. The world is already fallen and under his rule; he has no reason to attack his own kingdom, for a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.

Scripture calls believers to make their calling and election sure—not because Satan ignores the church, but precisely because attacking the church is his very nature and mission. When Satan is loosed, it is not to attack the world, but as a judgment upon an unfaithful church—just as God once loosed wicked empires upon Israel for their rebellion.

Apostasy occurs when the church falls away, not the world. The world was fallen long ago. Judgment comes when the rebellious church refuses to receive the truth in love. That is when God allows Satan’s deception to have its full effect.

2 Thessalonians 2:9–11

  • Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
  • And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
  • And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
  • That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

These false Christs and false prophets (aka second beast of Revelation 13) come to deceive the church—not the world. Under the rule of Apollyon, the great destroyer (Satan), they bring desolation upon the rebellious church by deceiving those within it who lack the seal of God on their foreheads.

Revelation 7:2–3

  • And I saw another messenger ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
  • Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Jesus Christ is that messenger from the East, holding the seal of the living God—the seal of salvation. He commanded the evil messengers not to harm the earth until He had sealed all His Elect through the testimony of the Two Witnesses (the Church) FIRST!

This is the very reason Satan was bound in the bottomless pit at the Cross—so that he could not deceive the nations until the full number of the Elect (symbolized by the 144,000 of Israel) were sealed with the Spirit of promise. Once the Church completes its mission and its testimony is finished, Satan is then loosed—like locusts upon the grass, trees, and every green thing that is not sealed (not saved). In short: God restrains Satan until every soul He intends to save is sealed.

For example, those who have not made their calling and election sure (2 Peter 1:10)—those who have not experienced the first resurrection (being born again in Christ, Revelation 20:6)—will face this spiritual judgment of delusion. These are they who “received not the love of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:12) and instead took pleasure in unrighteousness.

The destroyer rises against the camp of the saints, not against his own kingdom (ie. world) because they are already in his camp. Therefore, the “king” of Revelation 9 is not Jesus Christ, but the spirit of the adversary, which is the fallen spirit of man under Satan’s deception that will attack those people of the congregation who have not yet sealed after all elect has been secured.

Selah.

To locust it is complex. To sheep, it is not.

Yes, I do believe there are both demonic spirits as well as angels of God, both in Scripture called "messengers". No, I don't believe in the doctrine of fallen angels of God. That which was cast out of heaven at the birth of Christ was Satan and his demonic messengers, who before the advent of Christ had access to heaven (Job). What I'm not sure of is the way in which spirits enter into a man.
you have to invite them in.......easy to do if one is not careful

That's a good point Bladerunner, if you mean we who have the Holy Spirit in us. That truly is the spiritual battle every Christians fights while in these bodies of sin and death. Our spirit (mind, heart, will, emotions) is changed through the power of Christ's Spirit in us, but we are still of flesh & blood with natural spirit giving us breath for physical life. It is through this natural part that we who have been born again often battle against the Spirit of Christ in us. And as you point out it is easy to be deceived by the lusts of the flesh, and the world. Which is why God tells us we must put on the full armor of God every single day, because through His armor we find help to not be deceived.

Ephesians 6:11-13 (KJV) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Unfortunately I was speaking about demons not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit becomes part of you when God Justifies you. From there the New Covenant parameters are a share experience between all His elect. Ezekial 36:25-28... Does the phrase "my People" seem familiar from this passage. Otherwise what you have stated above. Until the day our 'contrainers' die, we will not be free of sin.

Yes, it is good to put on the Armour of God but many trade the Amour of God for demons. It is very easy, just simply invite them in.

Otherwise what you have stated above. Until the day our 'contrainers' die, we will not be free of sin.

It is the spirit indwelt with the Holy Spirit from Christ that possesses eternal life, and able to freely choose not to sin. Our natural spirit giving physical life to our flesh is also in us, this is the part of man that is of the first Adam of flesh & blood desiring to serve sin that believers must fight against as long as we have the breath of physical life.

When the soul (in heaven) is reunited with the transfigured body, it will be considered immortal...Rem. The body never was immortal but the Soul and Spirit were and are and will be.
