John knew about the bride and bridegroom. And all the revelation to that point was Israel and the Lord. The Body of Christ revelation was NOT revealed at that time.

Peter was in fear you say. I agree. Peter knew and witnessed of the Lord as `both Lord and Christ,` (Acts 2: 36) but never understood about the Body of Christ.

God`s word tells us that the revelation of the Body of Christ was not known before it was revealed to the apostle Paul.

The `Bride` symbol is used twice in scripture - for Israel on earth (Isa. 54: 5 & 6) and for the city, the New Jerusalem. (Rev. 21: 2)

Eph. 5: 25 is an exhortation for men to love their wives as their own BODY, as Christ does His Body.

`For we are members of His BODY of His flesh and of His bones.` (Eph. 5: 30)

There is no `she` but `it` referring to the BODY.

Doctrine is never based on an exhortation but clearly defined scriptures as Paul does in Eph. 1 -4 `the new man, to a perfect man. `

Yes, the generation and season are pretty close to these days, and their starting points will occur around 96 years after 1948, after we see the fulfilemnt of the Sixth Bowl judgement when the kings of the earth will gather at the place called Armageddon to be judged at the same time as the heavenly hosts as is set out in Isaiah 24:21-22.

We only have a relatively short time span for this to be confirmed.
