Colossians 2:14-16 - The Law That Was Against Us

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

    THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE,
To "speak words against the Holy Spirit", is / means to argue against the "WITNESS" of the Holy Spirit while the only witness of the Holy Spirit is to witness of the Christ of God, the Lord Jesus the ONLY SAVIOUR OF HIS PEOPLE.
In other words, the sin against the Holy Spirit the sin which will never be forgiven the committer, is his LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SAVIOUR THAN JESUS CHRIST.

This, the unforgivable sin, in essence is the sinner's UNREPENTABLE ARROGANCE AND PRIDE and unpreparedness to recognise and admit and confess and LET GO of his sin -- ANY sin of his against God that he sinned against NO OTHER THAN GOD : God the Father AND the Son AND the Holy Spirit.

    Mark 3:28-29

28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

They key here is "in danger" which indicates it can be reversed and one can be saved from it. But how would one blaspheme against the Holy Spirit? First they would have to be against the fruits of the Holy Spirit and blaspheme against them:

    Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.

So if you blaspheme against these qualities of God you're in danger of eternal damnation.

I think that's how it works, but I'm not totally sure. Cheers!

    Are there two unpardonable sins?

A man will certainly not be forgiven of all of his sins if he rejects Christ as the remedy for his sin to his dying breath.

Typical trinitarian, going against the actual words of Jesus, the Anointed.

Jesus says there is a difference; trinitarians say he meant the EXACT opposite!

You can’t make this stuff up.

I think we basically agree on this. Although I would say refusal to admit the need of a saviour. Which still leads us to an unrepentant heart.

So, you're saying that there are two unpardonable sins.

Yes. Man speaks words against the Son of Man Jesus Christ WHILE ignorantly doing so, in other words, while not having had received the Witness which the Holy Spirit witnesses of the Son of Man, not which some inner spirit of his own witnesses of itself in himself.

“IT ... [to] speak a word against the Son of man [per se], IT, shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost, IT – [to speak a word against the Son of man –, IT], shall not be forgiven him.”

The sin not forgiven man, is his speaking words against the Witness of the Holy Spirit TO THE SON OF MAN, Jesus Christ.

Therefore what is the Witness of the Holy Spirit TO THE SON OF MAN, Jesus Christ?
“IT” is the Holy SCRIPTURES’ WITNESS of Jesus Christ the Son of Man the REDEEMER of man. To speak words of a better-knowing spirit of unbelief and DENIAL against the Inspired WORD of God’s Bible-Witness to the only Saviour, is the ultimate sin that shall not be forgiven the haughty, the sceptic, and the cynic, in a word, the unrepentant.

A man will certainly not be forgiven ANY of his sins while rejecting Christ as only Redeemer of all the saved and only Remedy for all their sins.

You're attempting to add and remove (change) what the bible says. That's why you're having trouble understanding the unpardonable sin.

You're forgetting Jesus preached to those in spirit prison when he was crucified, there will be others that know not Jesus that might also find similar salvation after they die.

No. I have no idea how you could wonder that based on what I wrote.

None is saved in another Way than The Way the Holy Spirit witnesses of in Scripture. No private spirit is trustworthy.

You attempt to individualise <<the unpardonable sin>> and make it applicable to only some extra, too sinful, beyond hope, individuals,

by disregarding the context in which Jesus rebuked the Jews for not believing : IN HIM!

For not believing in JESUS according to the Witness of the Holy Spirit that inspired all the SCRIPTURES, they the Jews rejected the ONLY SAVIOUR of ALL the saved in all TIMES—and not believing in Him Jesus the Redeemer of both Jews and Gentiles, they lost all hope to be saved ever.

1Corinthians 1:2, You, called saints with ALL IN EVERY PLACE who call upon THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD are sanctified in HIM our Righteousness and Sanctification “both theirs and ours” – Christ the Anointed of God in Whom ONLY according to the Scriptures both Israel and Gentiles receive Forgiveness of sin, Redemption and Salvation.

None is saved in another Way than The Way the Holy Spirit witnesses of in Scripture. No private spirit is trustworthy.

You have made a tiny small point in regard to what is required for salvation. The entire New Testament must be followed to be saved from sin, this includes baptism, confirmation of the Holy Spirit of God, taking the bread and wine sacraments, having faith and believing in Jesus as our Savior and God, taking care of the poor, ill and in prison: following the beatitudes, etc, etc, etc.

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is a separate matter all in itself. We must distinguish that from the rest of the scripture. This is something we discuss here to clarify to those that don't understand it. But yes the New Testament is full of requirements to be saved, verse after verse. It's also full of warnings of eternal damnation for committing different sins.

You are not even writing complete sentences. Funny that you simultaneously assert authority in contextual interpretation is NOT the play words of Christ but some peculiar sense.

To the point that the proper interpretation of what Jesus said is the EXACT OPPOSITE of his words! That’s rich.

A similar stretch is when trinitarian pretend “I am” is not a common expression but a statement of divinity.

If rejecting Jesus to the day of one's death and speaking against the Holy Ghost are both situations wherein the person committing those sins are unforgiven, is that not two unpardonable sins?

Despicable untruth— unforgivable blasphemy, spoken in utter defiance against the Witness of the Spirit to Jesus Christ in God's Word the Scriptures!

You clearly do not know the scriptures. It says it right here:

    1 Peter 3:18-20

18For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
