How can someone claim to have repented, and yet keep on sinning? And not only keep sinning, but declaring how they will continue to keep sinning in this life unto the end?
Repenting obviously does not mean the same to them, as to any sensible person, and certainly not the same as that of Scripture, for which repentance is to stop sinning.
Here's how: first they make sin into a spirit and nature unto itself, so that there is a spirit of sin independent of committing sin, There is a spirit of sinning that is not sinning itself.
And so, they repent of the spirit of sinning only: by hearing the gospel, they now know that all sinning is sinning against God, not just against ourselves and one another.
And so, now by knowledge of the gospel, they have repented of the spirit of sinning, which they no more believe is good and pleasurable to do.
They are not so much convicted about sinning, but about the spirit of sinning, which is to enjoy it.
They believe repentance by conviction of conscience is to no longer enjoying sinning, They repent of the spirit of sinning, not the sinning itself.
And so now, though they keep sinning, they can no longer enjoy it, They can no longer get into the spirit of sinning.
So long as they hate sinning, which they do declare very loudly, then their sinning is not unto condemnation of the soul.
Their repentance is of sinning with fun, and so they have become dead to sinning, while yet sinning: they have been made dead to the spirit and enjoyment of sinning only!
Isn't that great? Is that not some truly admirable delusion?
Being dead to sin is being dead to enjoying sin while sinning.
Jesus doesn't come to take our sins away, but only to take away our enjoyment of sinning!!
Halleluiah brother! Ceeeeelebrate that grace, C'mon!!!!
