I was praying today for a young man whom God chose to completely heal from a genetic disease. While praying, the Lord said to me that he is a "strong tower" I understand that his family are going through some very difficult times and that they are well known in the public arena.

Angelina, a tower is what God plants in His Garden to guide/establish a place of worship for people. In Luke 14:28-30 a reference is made with regards to a parable for the Jewish community concerning this present time. The context in which this three verse parable is set, is about looking foolish when they attempt to build a replacement temple and they are not able to complete the task in their own strength. Jesus tell the audience that they will not have the means to complete the task. Rebuilding the Temple in their own strength is their attempt to reconnect with God without first repenting of their continual idolatrous worship.

With respect to this your man you were praying for, God was alerting you to the fact that he has a strong "temple" relationship with God which God is intending to use in the future for His Glory. What God is intending to do through this young man, is God's business to bring into reality. What we, you and I can do is to give thanks that God is drawing this young man into His loving embrace, strengthening him to be a mighty watch tower for the community that He has influence in.

Shalom

I believe God is calling us back to the basics....the roots, the foundation (Christ Jesus) ....to our First Love, where we pray not to be seen or heard of men, but in fervency, knowing He is hearing us.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus ...look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!

This earth is not our home. Why should we cling to any of it? Why are we here? To point to Christ ....what can man do to us? We are in His hands.

Exiting times thats for sure! Mega churches are not personal but small churches and home groups are. I live in a town with about 40 churches and now am seeing that that is not necessarily a bad thing. If we had one church here there would be like ten thousand people attending it.

But what God is trying to tell us is we ARE the Church....the temple of the Holy Spirit...we carry His message to the world when we share the gospel with those who don't attend a church building...
As Jesus preached out in the open, Peter also, the people would receive the truth and get saved and would be added to the Church...(the Body of Christ....the Bride of Christ).
Don't get me wrong, but Church buildings tend to separate the body of believers because they tend to affiliate with a certain doctrine....
God's Church has only one Doctrine...the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Amen?

Prepare yourselves! there is a wave coming.

Just as the Corona virus has changed every facet of our daily lives....this one will rattle the very foundations of our planet. Wake up, get right with God, prepare and pray!

@Angelina do you believe this is a literal rattling of the literal planet? I had a dream from God in 2004 of a literal shaking (earthquake) on massive scale (as well as major weather anomalies).

Exciting times for the faithful. We are seeing prophecy unfold in our lifetime. We should not be fearful but watchful. The current impending conflict between Isreal and Iran is another example of prophecy unfolding before us. Jesus is coming soon. I've felt a sense of urgency in making sure others know the pathway to salvation. Should not that be our main focus these days?
@Angelina I pray for you and your country.

It's a wave mixed with lava. The sound is like millions of horses, rumbling under and through the whole earth....pray. "Prayer can change the course of history" [M.G.]

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land."

Hello,

When we know God's timeline for the events that is and will unfold in this period of history for mankind, know that the end still has another age to work towards the end of and that at this present time, God is bringing to bear on His people and the Gentiles there respective punishments. For the Gentiles and their Kings God will judge them at the same time that He will judge the wicked fallen heavenly hosts in heaven and they will be gathered together to be imprisoned in the Bottomless pit for many days to await the time of their punishment. For those who claim that they call on the Name of the Lord, God will stop the rain, bring tyranny to consume the goodness in the earth as locusts do and also allow pestilence to consume us, because we have turn away from the things of God. Because nations have attempted to heal the land of Babylon instead of destroying it before God, their lot is for those nations to be infested with locusts, men that will consume the goodness in the land just because they can because of the office that they have achieved through devious means. God has given our respective nations Governments in the hope that we will see our respective sins in our respective lands and that we will humble ourselves and repent of the evil that we have consented to either vocally of silently.

Sadly, what I am hearing is the "Christians are crying out to God claiming that they have done nothing wrong in the sight of God and that they therefore should not be suffering this tribulation that is overtaking our respective lands.

Sadly, we all who call upon the Name of the Lord, need to recognise our turning away from God and our feeble attempts to fix all of our woes ourselves without any reliance on the God that we "worship."

The church is not prepared to humble themselves and repent of their turning away from God with our back towards Him so that He does not see the workings of our hands as we stroke the gods that we worship to gain the advantages that we desire.

Is the Church prepared to acknowledge their sins and seek God's forgiveness.

Shalom

I feel that Churches in our country are going to morph into doing church, in a way that is unfamiliar to us as a nation.

I am speaking part prophetic, and part visionary. I see small groups of around 10 people or less, gathered together in someone's home, watching their denomination's, live stream church service, due to Covid restrictions and other future restrictions.

In the future I see church buildings become less of a gathering place and small collective groups, grow with a leader for each. These are representing various churches. I believe home churches will come to the forefront in my country and the church will eventually have to go underground due to continuous legislation.....
I had the vision, too, but I had given up on the hope this would ever happen.

I attended a small non-denominational church in 1986 to 1992 that operated like a small, open group of people. It was an incredible experience and I've never been able to find another meeting style like it. Nobody wants it. It's been very frustrating trying to explain to people that the Bible actually tells us what a true meeting of the saints looks like. And it's not the traditional liturgical lecture style church service that rules today. People come up with all kinds of reasons why small open meetings won't work (yes, they can be difficult to manage).

So I just gave up. And I have to be honest, I gave up on people. I just got tired of everybody's angry, rebellious contentions about church and Christianity. I resigned myself to just talking to people on line and never meeting together. I've kind of thought this is where the future of real Christians lies, but this Covid thing did get me thinking again about Christians having to meet with the Christians in their own neighborhoods, in spite of our denominational beliefs, because of economic and political crises across the globe. I know that if/when this happens the church will be powerful. We will see powerful prayers answered. The pages of our Bibles will explode in revelation. Our individual gifts will be fanned into flames of power and passion. And not for the sake of ego, but for the glory of God.

This is something I've been "seeing" for a few years now..... believers gathering in small groups, under a tree, or in homes, or while working in a field ....not in "church buildings" ....discussing the Word, dwelling together in unity of the faith.

Agreed T.
In the Spring, my house is going up for sale and am wanting to move back to the country, and am hoping to get a bit of land as seeing this writing on the wall, I want as much room as I can get for my family and other brothers and sisters in Him to gather, or even live!
We are in the birth pangs, for sure sister.
xx

I am uncomfortable with a movement I see to substitute online "worship" for in-person worship. I think the Lord wants us to worship in person.

For some reason, I just cannot see our Lord being happy with the mega-church structure and organization. It's like a corporation. Not all large Churches have it wrong I'm sure. I also think some Churches spend a great deal of effort in preaching to the choir so to speak. Evangelism I associate with large numbers (stadiums, revival etc). I think it should be about reaching souls and strengthening the flock.

He does, but until COVID serves its intended purpose and we can move about freely we will have to depend on our computer and cell phone screens to meet together. IMO, COVID is not the actual instrument that drives us underground and into small groups. The persecution that follows this will.

With credit to Jonathon Cahn, this is a reversal or turning back of all things to their origin, just as God has foreordained a return of Israel to the land.

In this case, that would mean that similar churches to those we read of in the book of Acts would return. But instead (in reverse order) of Christ going out into all nations (and all who would receive Him) as He had begun to do during those days, the reverse would be true. All who have and will believe, will come back to Christ. And yes to those whom have not already seen Him, "This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

However, beware the teachings of men and lovers of the flesh, who claim that "like manner" means, like flesh. For He returns not that God might be where we are, but rather that we should be where He is (let the reader understand): He comes in the glory of the Father, whom is spirit, and "we shall be like Him."

But the movement is that there will no longer be in-person worship - just online worship. By the way, I think most churches are meeting in person.
