well, 60 million (5 or 6 years ago) people have left organized religion in the developed world, i guess; in Flint i got a church on every corner (right off Broadway, East Side), all in great shape, real estate wise, all quite pretty even; but all closed. the rest of the neighborhood is even in revitalization now, but this corner is just...eerie, is the best way to put it. Fwiw i see ppl who have come out of the grave (those "churches"), and are now walking around, so to speak. Bc obviously if those churches had existed to serve ppl, they would still be open, where they were needed the most
