See, you are up to your neck in legalism, so, when you hear that Jesus is Righteousness and not your works, then all your fuses blow.

Its like this Robert.
The only Righteousness that God accepts, is HIS OWN.....and that is not you trying to do works.

Your works are not God's Righteousness.
Not ever.

The heart and faith of Jesus is believing from the heart unto righteousness, that we can live righteously and walk as He walked on earth.

Not believing unto righteousness, is not believing Jesus and the power of His resurrection.

Do these many passages of scripture say belief/faith "plus something else?" Plus works? NO. So then it's faith (rightly understood) IN CHRIST ALONE.

Belief and faith are a works gospel!!!

Yourself have admitted that in Ephesians 2:8 that faith is a gift and NOT of works.

So many are trying to work their way to heaven because they have not understood the finished work of Jesus on the Cross that is "the Gift of Salvation" that God gives to us through our faith.

If you have faith, why do you need to exercise it???
