you're looking at the trees and not the forest. you must take all of scripture into consideration. in order to understand.I agree that Jesus is our lord, just not the LORD God Almighty.
One way we know that is the resurrected Jesus talked about going to his God. Jesus’ God is the only God.

did Jesus who is of God that is the Word of God made flesh return to God? yes because God's Word goes out and returns fulfilled.
a king's or dictator's word is king or dictator to anyone not such, within the kingdom thereof. God is God and God's Word is God and God's Presence is God to anyone not God. but as Jesus explains He is not of Himself but of the Father God is His Father because a Spirit's Word is the Son thereof in this case.
God of Jesus Christ yes, but God's Word of whom Jesus is, is God to anyone else not God. all that was made was made through God's Word therefore God to all that was made.

They rejected Jesus in His day, though. Maybe they were not able to see the forest? All of Scripture is written by monotheist Jews who reject the trinity to this day. How about that forest?

Much love!
Begotten means made. This is why Scripture says Jesus is the 1st born of all creation.
Lap 200.
No response to the Scripture that says Jesus is the 1st born of all creation. Predictable.
Just the same, they didn't get it. And so far, they aren't getting it now, not on the national level.Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. He fulfilled Jewish prophecies.
I am reading the Complete Jewish Bible translation now. In the preface it points out that Jesus was born under the law and there is no evidence Jesus ever stopped being Jewish.
The Bible is God’s Word, which does not change over time. That the Jews rejected Jesus is as God ordained and expressed through prophecy.
They also reject Christ!LOL. This thread is focused on the Book of Acts.
All of Scripture fails to mention the trinity. The trinity is such an important doctrine, that in 66 books, it is not mentioned once. All of Scripture is written by monotheist Jews who reject the trinity to this day. How about that forest?
Yes it is relevant.True but not relevant. The OT shows 3 people, at least, were worshipped Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar and David. This destroys the trinitarian claim that only God is worshipped in the Bible.
Dear @DPMartin and @theefaithJW's do, maybe some others, but its not scriptural as you pointed out. maybe i missed something, but this is a debate on trinitarian theology.
In calling Himself the "Son of God", the Pharisee's objection was that Jesus, in saying this, was making Himself equal with God.You will not see other leaders in the Bible called both the Son of Man and the Son of God, but Christ Jesus alone.
Then stick with ScriptureNo where in Scripture. The trinity is man-made.
I hope I can be next to you when you bow your knees and declare jesus is Jehovah to the glory of God the Father!
If we remember that this was written 2 millenia ago we would know that firstborn were the heir of the Fathers wealth.
Yes it is relevant.
Once we receive Jesus we no longer follow the old ways of sacrificing lambs and following priests or leaders for our salvation.
