This one fellow I watched on YouTube listed several Bible passages that the
SDA believes are true and that normal Christians also believe are true. So
why are Adventists and normal Christians at odds?
The rub is that although SDA believes the same passages are true; Ellen G.
White interprets those passages differently than normal Christians.
The same problem exists with Jehovah's Witnesses. They too incorporate the
very same Bible passages in their religion as normal Christians; but the
Watchtower Society's interpretations of those passages are different than
normal Christians.
For example: the Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus rose from the dead
within three days and three nights the same as normal Christians believe.
But their concept of his resurrection is different.
Normal Christians believe Jesus' crucified dead body was restored to life
whereas the Witnesses believe his crucified dead body is still dead and its
remains are squirreled away on earth in a condition, and a location, known
only to God. Long story short: Jesus' resurrection didn't restore him to lfe as
a man; rather, it restored him to life as an angel.
