Esau was a "drama queen."![]()
But he was a fearless hunter of wild game. Why did he need to be a drama queen to demand food when Jacob was his mummy's boy and not as outgoing as Esau?

It was implied that Hairy came back empty-handed (from a hunt) while Underhanded was making stew. It was already made (and Red was too impatient to make his own).But he was a fearless hunter of wild game. "Outgoing" was a relative term. Underhanded had an extended wrestling match with God, later. ;)
You brought "...Jacob was his mummy's boy and not as outgoing as Esau?" to the table.Sorry Sabertooth, I am not on this forum for the purposes of exchanging sound bytes of wisdom
Food for thought? Yikes, one could gorge themselves on all that is God and His Word! I would love to be one of your children so I could ask to have all your studies![]()
I just purchased a new Inductive NASB study bible and am trying to familiarize myself with it. And, I also ordered another book written and published, author is one of our very own beloved sisters on here. But, I won't out her unless she is okay with that lol.
"The Scriptures Revealed by the Father is often contrary to the traditions of men so much, it is not desired to be found nor made known."
Well now, isn't that a sad commentary about the state of Christianity today. Why do some Christians turn away from the hard teachings?! It's all or nothing with God IMHO.
And one which an agenda to disprove the Trinity. It seems the OP is a JW or something close who can't stand the idea of the Trinity
What it refers to - God in Three Persons - is indeed in the Bible.Nothing to disprove. The word trinity is not found in the Bible. It is a non-Biblical delusion embraced by those who have never read theWord.
What it refers to - God in Three Persons - is indeed in the Bible.
Clearly we disagree.The Bible never refers to God as a Trinity. That is just a man-made construct.
From the beginning, the Hebrew word for God, is plural, so the literal translation of Gen 1 is ""In the beginning the Gods created the heavens and the earth." "Then the Gods said, “Let there be light” etc.
Then we have multiple Holy Spirits, like the Seven Spirits which were sent to the seven churches Rev 1:4;
the " Seven Lamps of Fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." Rev 4:5;
and also the Seven Spirits which emanate from the throne and the Lamb which had been slain, who are sent forth into all the earth. Rev 5:6: And those are only the ones who have been revealed to us. Certainly there is much more we don't know about.
It doesn't make sense to limit an infinite God, to a limited man-made construct in a 3-in-1 box.
That's fine with me, but it begs the question, "Why are you here...?"Sorry Sabertooth, I am not on this forum for the purposes of exchanging sound bytes of wisdom

(You're certainly welcome to be here. I just don't know how to process that statement.)![]()
Translating names [instead of transliterating them] would not adversely affect Biblical accuracy, but it would likely have a negative affect on its readability.Seems to me every time they change the bible they change God, God never changes, neither does His word no matter how men corrupt it.( not talking bible here, His Word is Spirit it cannot change)
So what is the Book of Jasher?What church includes the Book of Jasher in their canon?
(This is moving away from the OP of "name translation" vs. "name transliteration." I created a new thread so we don't further hijack this one.)
The Book of Jasher...?
