You see dead people, dont you Jack?
Well yeah, MILLIONS are heading for Hell. I see them every day! So why are you changing the subject? Why do you profess to be Christian? Looks like you and STV have the same religion, but neither of you know what it is.

We all go to hell Jack...but only the righteous will inherit the land to which we lay!

"The meek shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace . . . For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth . . . The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell therein for ever" (Psalm 37:11,22,29).

"Like sheep they are laid in the grave (sheol); death shall feed on them . and their beauty shall consume in the grave (sheol)" (Psalm 49:14)

"There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. The small and the great are there; and the servant is free from his master" (Job 3:17-19).

You should be more concerned about coming out of it!

You believe in hell for Bible believers but you reject the Bible. And then you cite Scriptures. Sounds like doctrines of demons Jesus warned us about.

Discussion questions:
1) Should children be sent to church even if you don't attend? Why?
Strange question. I would never "send" my children to church. Sending means "forcing".
Nobody should be forced.

2) Should you bring your children to church with you?
Yes. Up till a certain age, and hopefully there would be a children's ministry.

3) Did you start attending church (again?) when your children were old enough?
Always.

4) Have you ever taken (or sent) children to church against their will?
No

5) Was Sunday morning/or Sabbath a battleground for going to church?
No.

6) At what age should children decide for themselves whether to attend, or not?
Depends on the child. At age of accountability I would say. Would be different for each child.

7) What do you do if your adult children decide to no longer go to church?
Pray for them. Ask the Lord to deal with it.

Should children be forced to attend public schools to get their brains removed by Uncle Satan?

I was going to open with a statement about who the question is for. I deleted it.
I'm not going to limit respondents to those church attenders that have children.

My own mother was sent to church (or allowed to go) by her unattending mother.
She developed a Christian faith, married my Christian father and raised us in the church.
I have attended most of my life, except for a few years as a young adult. God called me back.
Which may be shocking news for those that have determined that I am not a Christian.
I may be MORE Christian than you! - LOL

I should add...
Some of you may have church at home with your family.
That may present some unique challenges.

What say you?

Real church needs to start at home but to answer your questions...

#1 NO, because if you dont attend yourself then you are setting a bad example
#1 YES
#3 Never had kids but if I did....#4 Yes because YOU are the parent here you make the decisions for them.
#5 When I was a kid I wouldnt have called it a 'battleground' but I hated it anyway because at the time I wasnt a believer and neither were my parents but they went anyway and dragged us kids along.
#6 When they are old enough to leave home and make their own choices
#7. You might not like it but they arent your kids anymore so you cant tell them what to do. Love them anyway and pray for their salvation

When our children were under our roof(s), it was understood that we go to church as a family. When they moved out on their own, it was their responsibility to decide whether and where they go to church. We have prayed daily for them to make the right decision, but it is theirs to make. It is no longer our responsibility as their parents. Two are regular attenders, while the third does not attend church. We keep praying.

Discussion questions:
1) Should children be sent to church even if you don't attend? Why?
Parents must set the example….kids see through “don’t do as I do…just do as I say”….so if it’s not good enough for you…it won’t be good enough for them either.
Every child’s education begins at home…..and strong role models (positive or negative) affect children more than we realize.
2) Should you bring your children to church with you
Absolutely….until they are of age, parents are responsible for their minor children.
3) Did you start attending church (again?) when your children were old enough?
I have never stopped, and my children and all but one of my grandchildren are still attending our Christian meetings regularly. He made the choice in his teens that it wasn’t for him. We love him dearly, and he is always included in family activities. Everyone has a right of choice, and we always hope like the prodigal son, that he will eventually come “home”.
4) Have you ever taken (or sent) children to church against their will?
Never. Our children are not segregated from adults, and because our meetings are interactive, the children are included and can have a share in adding their comments to the study. They are a valuable part of our congregations.
5) Was Sunday morning/or Sabbath a battleground for going to church?
No, we all enjoyed the meeting and looked forward to some take away food on the way home. Hot chips on fresh buns with BBQ sauce were a favorite. It was like a little family treat.
6) At what age should children decide for themselves whether to attend, or not?
My children were baptized in their teens and each married in the faith. Our congregations are close knit and our kids hang out and do things together. They always have parental supervision so It keeps them away from what other teens are doing at their age. Christian parents will know what I mean.
Many are now home schooling their children because the school system is not conducive to following Christian principles.
Sticking to Bible teachings is becoming increasingly harder. They mature so much earlier out of that environment.
7) What do you do if your adult children decide to no longer go to church?
We allow them to choose their own lives as adults…as long as we have done our best to provide them with all they need to make wise choices, it is no longer about our choices….it is their life to live, as they will answer to God just like everyone else.
We can pray for them to make the right choices, but it is out of our hands.

I would say yes. The Bible says to train up a child in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). If you don't teach them your values, then someone else will. Parenthood is a sort of benign dictatorship. Whether they want to go or not is irrelevant. Children often don't want to do a lot of things their parents want. If it were up to them, for instance, they would never clean their rooms. At a certain point, they will have to make their own decisions. What they decide to do with their faith (or lack thereof) later in life is up to them. Until then, it's my responsibility to raise them as I see fit.

Every TV pastor. They're millionaires living in luxury.

You've personally viewed the financials of each and every TV preacher?

Look for instance at Pentecostal Jimmy Swaggart ministry. Turns the stomach.

What did he do this time?

God is suddenly tolerant of sins?

Actually the god they serve is tolerant of sin.

Of course their god is not the Jesus of the Bible, but they claim their god is.
