I made beef stroganoff hamburger helper. It is the first time in awhile I have cooked. We eat out quite a bit. It was really good.

Tonight we had BBQ chicken salad and peach pie ( to die for,)

... fresh made by our daughter for the wedding on Saturday!!
She's made 5 peach pies , five apple and blackberry pies .
My other daughter has made 5 pecan pies, and five Bumble-berry pies.
Plus the wedding cake obviously..not home made

Ooooh, you are making me hungry! I had fresh romaine hearts with, red onion, broccoli, celery, craisins, almonds, cut up grilled chicken, garbanzo beans, manderine oranges, zesty Catalina dressing, Gorgonzola cheese crumbles and fresh cracked pepper...yu-me Pretty much my staple, I put in what ever fresh veg I have on hand-oh yes, cucumber, lol.
Oh how i could go for a nice piece of peach pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!!

Oh. I missed the Blackberry pie!!! I had a very good friend once that anything she pur her hands to turned out ALWAYS "the best I ever had" And, she would make tons of Italian cookies and sell them around the Holidays...she made a grape pie once, never had one and have never had any kind of pie that came close to the heavenly taste of that grape pie...wow. Bumbleberry?

When we were KIDS we would float a creek on inner-tubes with an extra tube that had a large pot in the hole, and we would collect blackberry's and our Grandma would make Blackberry Cobbler, She also made Peach Cobbler, and a Lemon Merange pie to Die for, I Rely Miss My Grandma!!

Sorry, to keep in the OP, we had Smoked Turkey beans, with Texas Toast, and Iced Tea. PS I sure would like to Sample the Blackberry Pie, LOL

I have two close Texan friends...and they really do believe that everything is bigger and better on Texas!! LOL

But even if I saw it I couldn't eat a Kangaroo.

I like Elk and Moose, but do not like Bear or Beaver at all.
