2Co 11:3, But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Co 11:4, For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Jde 1:3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jde 1:4, For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Jesus of Mormonism is clearly a different Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible; and Mormonism is clearly a different gospel,
a different faith than the faith that was once delivered unto the saints. It denies the only Lord God even our Lord Jesus Christ, in that it defines Jesus differently than He is defined in reality; it sets forth a different Jesus than the true and real
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Jesus of Mormonism is a separate God from God the Father, among a very great multitude of many other gods. This is not the God of the Bible. It is not the Jesus of the Bible. Mormonism presents
another Jesus and
another gospel; its primary book even admits to being
another testament of Jesus Christ.
To state these things is not to persecute Mormons; for it is written that
faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
Those Mormons who consider that I am persecuting them for that I am exposing their faith for what it is need to understand that their faith is based in a lie and that I am being your friend in exposing that lie for what it is.
Now I don't claim to be an expert in dealing with Mormons but I do have enough love for them to want to show them the error of their ways; as it is written,
Jas 5:19, Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Jas 5:20, Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
If to seek to be obedient to this passage of scripture makes me a persecutor, then I gladly wear the label!
