Not usually no. Just look at how few goals he has for em compared to CR7 for us

He did finally win the copa America last July. An easy comp compared to Euro cup

Hmmmm, I am only bringing this up for the Messi vs Ronaldo debate :p

I think I want the Dogs to win too, Stefan Martin and Josh Schache both used to play for the Lions, they now play for the Dogs.

Well Ronaldo basically went to the EPL's equivalent of Collingwood..... Just saying. :p

EPL is an A grade league and Manchester united is an A grade team
Ligue 1 is a B grade league and PSG is a B grade team

U play FIFA right? Just have a look at the stats
Plus look at the champions league history. Rarely does a French team win it whereas English teams have won it the most.

Ronaldo is the GOAT... Greatest Of All Time

Still though, Man United is basically the Collingwood of the EPL, or maybe a Richmond.

If you don't go for them, you want the other team to win. Lolz.

Alright let's crunch the numbers.

Messi's career

Barcelona C - 10 Apps 5 Goals
Barcelona B - 22 Apps 6 Goals
Barcelona - 520 Apps 474 Goals
PSG - 2 Apps (I think) 0 Goals
Argentina U20 - 18 Apps 14 Goals
Argentina U23 - 5 Apps 2 Goals
Argentina - 153 Apps 79 Goals

Total - 730 Apps 580 Goals
Avg - 0.7945205479 Per Game

Has Ronaldo done better? I will get back to you.

Ronaldo played off the wing most of his career...
Messi always played in front of goal...
So your comparison of goals isn't a fair reflection...
But go on...

Ronaldo has almost 800 goals... His played more games...
His the highest ever goal scorer i think now but i think his ratio is a bit lower than Lionel's but im interested to see the breakdown if you can present it starting from

Sporting Lisbon where he scored less than 10 goals,
then united i think he scored about 100 goals,
then Madrid he scored almost 500 goals,
then Juve he scored about 100
and for Portugal his scored over 100

Lets see how close i am
And i think his played over 1,000 matches so the ratio is about 0.8
And for United now his already scored 4 goals in 3 matches

Mind you, before these two it was good for a striker to have a ratio of 0.5 for a few seasons, to score once every two games... That is the normal... These last 20 years in soccer have been abnormal cos these two guys are just freaks

And now i get to watch United games on Optus sport... Sweet...:)

Both Messi and Ronaldo have natural and gifted talent for scoring many goals.

Ronaldo however is more team-oriented, especially in these last few maturing years. He is today more electrifying and more involved in the plays for his team than Messi. He comes back to to support the back line more that Messi. Just saying and my opinion.

@Cristo Rei

Here we go, alright.

So

Messi's Average

Goals per game = 0.8040685225
Assists per game = 0.3372591006
Goals + Assists per game = 1.1413276231

Ronaldo's Average
Goals per game =
0.7319109462
Assists per game = 0.2096474954
Goals + Assists per game = 0.9415584416

Goals + Assists Per Game Winner = Messi

@Josho

Sporting Lisbon - 31 Apps - 5 golos
Manchester United - 292 Apps - 118 golos
Real Madrid -438 Apps - 450 golos
Juventus 134 Apps - 101 golos
Manchester United 3 Apps - 4 golos
Portugal 180 Apps - 110 golos

Total appearances - 1,078
Total golos - 789
Goal scoring ration - 0.732

So its just as i said... He was a winger early in his career so you can't really decide who is the GOAT just by looking at that..
