So many christians running around doing works, expecting some big reward. just in case "grace by faith" fails them,
Have you not read
Luk 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
Luk 17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Luk 17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
Luk 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
These thing we do because of who we are not to prove who we are. When one does anything out of anything but love, it serves no point, it becoles all the flesh. I must be seeing to be doing. Jesus never did anything outside of what was expected of Him
Joh 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
Joh 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
God isnt interested in our works, only that we allow Him to work through us. There is no glory in this for us, when it is our works we steal His glory, again
Joh_6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Joh_6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
SO ill do as He said, and believe Him , and let Him manifest His works through me, if He so choose, what am I but an unprofitable servant.
TO God be all the Glory, not men...
God isn't interested in our works? See, I told you that you have no understanding of the gospel,

AND THERE ARE MORE SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE OBGLIGATION OF THE ELECT TO DO GOOD WORKS. IF FOR ONE MOMENT YOU THINK THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO BEAR GOOD FRUIT, YOU ARE IN GREAT ERROR YOU FOOLISH MAN.
